The Musee de Montmartre is a little gem out of the crowded area of Montmartre. It is interesting to visit and has a very nice cafe and lovely garden area.

An excellent small museum in an interesting house set in lovely gardens. Stopped for coffee and cake in the delightful cafe. We spent two hours there and, after a month's journey in Europe, ranked this museum in our top five most enjoyable things to do.

Many people miss this little gem when visiting Montmartre. Its an interesting museum to visit and it tells you about how the place developed. The gardens are nice to stroll in too.
