D-Day Normandy Beaches Tour from Paris
From US$118,46
D-Day was the largest seaborne invasion in history, and matching landing locations to the remarkable events of June 6, 1944, is easier with a guide. Gain insight with a day tour of the battleground, and be guided around some of the most significant sites, including Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery. Put the pivotal event in context with explanation from a professional guide, and travel the coast with ease in an air-conditioned minivan.
What to Expect

Begin your day with a train journey from Paris’ St. Lazare station to Carentan (fare not included).

Meet your guide at Carentan station and head to Sainte-Mère-Église. Discover the role US airborne divisions had in D-Day, and hear heroic stories about those who fought.

Next, head to Utah Beach, where the 4th Division landed on D-Day morning, and then onto Pointe Du Hoc to visit the remaining fortifications and bomb craters.

Then visit Omaha Beach, gaining insight into the military tactics and bloodshed that took place, before travelling onto your final destination, Normandy American Cemetery, to pay your respects to the brave service people buried here.

At the end of your tour, you are dropped to Bayeux Station, where you catch the train back to Paris.
