Overview

Paris, the “City of Lights,” is one of the world’s most important wine capitals, with vintages available from nearly every vineyard across the country. Take a tour of France’s most delicious creations on this one-of-a-kind wine tasting, guided by an expert sommelier. Taste your way from Bordeaux to Champagne—without ever leaving the French capital.

What to Expect

Your tasting tour begins in a fashionable, converted wine cellar in central Paris. Both wine novices and expert connoisseurs will appreciate hands-on instruction from a top sommelier, who will guide you through multiple tastings from all of the top vineyards in France.

Sipping from top-quality Riedel wineglasses, learn the time-tested techniques for wine tasting, as your guide provides background on the top wine-producing regions. Sample grape varieties from Sancerre, Champagne, Rhone, and Bordeaux, recognized as the wine capital of the world. Learn to taste the subtle differences between them, along with how to read a French wine label.

After your tasting tour, sample artisanal cheeses from a real fromager (cheesemonger), along with a variety of charcuterie (cured meats), including smoked ham from Southwestern France and saucisson (dry cured sausage) from Corsica. End the tour as a wine expert, learning how to pair meat and cheese with different types of wine.

Not sure about the tasting only but the lunch + tasting (which I highly HIGHLY recommend) was about 1.5-2hrs.

I think this would be possible as long as they knew in advance and could plan accordingly. [The tasting is done in a separate room, so they would need to reserve a seat for your daughter at the table.] Why don't you contact... More
