Three hour guided tour

Travel like a local in Dublin, pedaling through the city to see the top landmarks and highlights on a bicycle. Follow a guide, providing navigation and directions, off the popular tourist trail inhabited by most sightseeing buses to witness some of the Irish capital's hidden corners. Highlights include Temple Bar, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Guinness Brewery, Dublin Castle, and College Green, among others.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and group at the Daintree Building on Pleasant's Place, and be properly fitted for a bike and safety equipment. Pedaling through Dublin on a bicycle lets you travel as the locals do, getting to know the city from the ground up without fussing with maps or directions. Simply follow the guide to see some of the off-the-beaten-path sites that ordinary tour buses can't access.

Start your tour with a circuit around some of the top landmarks, including Merrion Square, Parnell Square, O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin Castle, and College Green. Then head a bit out of the usual tourist loop to see the Blessington Street Basin and the 18th-century Roe's Distillery windmill on the way to the Grand Canal Dock area, part of “the new Dublin.” Along the way, listen to your guide’s commentary on the ancient city's history, culture, and modern iteration.

John was an amazing guide. As a family of four (parents and two grown children) we all had a fantastic time snaking through the streets of Dublin. I wouldn't try biking in the city without a guide, but John kept us all safe and entertained...More

Unusual tour

Saw Dublin, warts and all at times, with this relaxed, leisurely but personal tour. Though a busy, sunny Saturday afternoon I have never experienced such a personal tour of a major city centre. The tour was well paced with regular breaks for a well informed...More

No, the tour includes riding on Dublin’s roads and being able to navigate traffic. Older teens and adults would be better suited in my opinion.
