What to expect
Your tour starts with pickup from Dublin in a comfortable, Wi-Fi–equipped coach bus. On the way to Belfast, you’ll stop at a rest area for breakfast, drinks, or snacks (at your own expense). It’s a long day, so it’s recommended you grab something to eat. At Belfast, your guide will point you to a black cab for a tour led by someone who grew up there during the Northern Ireland Conflict. Visit the Falls and Shankill neighborhoods, hearing first-hand accounts of the battles between the Catholics and the Protestants. You’ll see the Peace Wall, where you can sign your own name. Afterward, you’ll ride on the bus to the Giant’s Causeway, with a chance to buy lunch (own expense) before walking down the hill to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lastly, walk across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge over the ocean before making the return drive back to Dublin.

Giants Causeway
Sep 2020
Danny gave us an awesome tour of the Giants Causeway and of many sites to and from there. He's an authentic Dubliner, which is refreshing. He shows pride in his country and it's landscape an he's funny to go with it. We had an awesome day!

Hello Danny is a Dub alright, he represented Dublin in minor football until an injury ended his career. Keep it quiet but he lives in Louth now. Regards John

Great Tour! Hervorragend
Sep 2020
Extraordinary Tour with loads of time at the Cliffs/Giant Causeway (2 hours!). This is not comparable with other tour providers! Amazing, lovely guide Ashley was just brilliant with her very positive and energetic personality. We were lucky with the weather as well. We highly recommend this tour. Due to Covid-19 we could not visit the Bridge, but instead we visited the Dark Hedges, which was for me way more interesting and a great alternative. The bus had a special air filter against bacteria, which is also a plus. We'll do another tour for sure!

Full day of fun adventure!
Feb 2020
I had the MOST amazing time on this trip, the two women in charge (I think Kim and Sara?) were WONDERFUL - both super fun and knowledgeable and what a great driver! It was a good day for travel and being my first time to Ireland, it was a great way to get from Dublin to Belfast, a quick look see, then over to the coast to see a castle and the beautiful country side, and the Giant's Causeway was SPECTACULAR!!! They gave us so much information, and they even had great advice for after the trip- where to go see authentic pub entertainment AND best place to get fish & chips! I would totally recommend this trip for a full day, a fun day and a day of adventure.

Thank you for taking the time to post your kind review. Sara is with us a long time now, over 5 years and Kim nearly 2 years. The two ladies together make a great team.

Perfect Day Trip!
Jan 2020
Travelling mid January. Early start from Dublin to Belfast, chose to do the Peace Wall/black taxi instead of the Titanic Tour. Both are good. Tour guide, 'Richard from Oshawa!' was exceptional. Such a wealth of knowledge and very entertaining. Sean was a great driver too. Carrick-a-Rede bridge was closed, so we went to Dunluce Castle instead, which was beautiful. Giant's causeway was super windy, but well worth the trip to see. Definitely would recommend this day trip.

Hello Thank you for the review. We do our best, so if a scheduled attraction is closed due to the weather we try to mitigate the disappointment by visiting another historical attraction that we know will be of interest. Regards John

Best tour guide ever!
I wish that I could leave 100 positive reviews for Wild Rover, especially for our guide Dave and driver Sean.

I spoke to Josh at Wild Rover numerous times leading up to our tour to ensure we had all of the most up-to-date information. He was so patient and helpful in reassuring me and even putting us on a new, more expensive tour (with no extra cost) when our tour to the Cliffs of Moher was cancelled.

We were a bit worried that our trip to Ireland would be derailed due to the virus outbreak, but Dave went above and beyond to make sure that we all have the absolute best time. He even made sure that we had a truly authentic Irish St. Patrick’s Day, electing to spend a second day with all of us who wanted to join. Truly, I am quite positive that we had a better, more memorable time with the closures and such than we would have if all of the pubs had been open.

We will absolutely go back to Dublin and will absolutely do another tour with Wild Rover, with our fingers crossed that we get paired with Dave and Sean again.

Another tour on my birthday that I'll never forget
It was to be a bittersweet day. Last tour to be had in Ireland due to the virus, but our guide Dave and driver Sean didn't let that get them down. Another beautiful day on the Emerald Isle! We set off to the North, Belfast. Our first stop gave us a choice of two attractions; either a black cab tour of Belfast and the political monuments or the Titanic exhibition, unlike any of the other exhibitions, as it is in the home of the great ship. My wife and I decided on the Titanic exhibition, and we were very happy. Sadly we missed out on the ride that is supposed to take you "flying" around and through Titanic, closed due to the virus. But still, the history, the knowledge you gain about the ship, the yard, the great people of Belfast tasked with building this goliath. You are completely immersed, drawn to the stories, connecting with the moments. We enjoyed some food in the Cafe before rejoining the rest of our group and continuing our adventure. Before leaving the shipyard, Dave and Sean did take us by the studios and some of the backdrops from Game of Thrones, as well as showing us the grand cranes that were used while making Titanic.

We continued through Northern Ireland, on to our next stop, the Giants Causeway. Weather still holding out for the most part, we hiked the cliffs, created from an ancient volcanic eruption, listing to Gaelic tales of Giants, fairies, and other myths of the causeway. We were amazed by the views, and I'm pretty sure we were able to see the Scottish Isles in the distance across the Isle of Man. Definitely got our workout for the day. We did hike up the red trail, which turns out was actually closed...oops. Once again we grabbed a bite before heading to our next stop.

Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge was created over 250 years ago for the salmon fishermen. Another beautiful coastline hike to the bridge gave way to more amazing views before braving the bridge which, if you have come this far, you need to cross just to say you have.

Unfortunately, it was time for the long, sad ride back to Dublin. Dave kept us entertained and gave us the best experience as it was the last tour they were going to have for the foreseeable future. We plan to continue to go back to Ireland for years to come, but I recommend that if you are looking for a tour, choose Wild Rover, and make sure to ask for Dave. You won't regret it!

Truly fantastic day!
Absolutely fantastic!!! We had the pleasure and good fortune to be part of the last trip the guys were able to do. Dave and Sean were brilliant, Dave our guide was very incredibly knowledgable. Adding personal stories to his historical facts through the very long 13 hour day. I would recommend this trip and these two guys, I will 100% be using wild rover again when I come back.
Ps: take Daves recommendation of the taxi tour in Belfast. An amazing experience which I will never forget.

Fun packed day
Such a great and easy company to book your tour through. Our guide dave and driver shaun were fantastic the whole 13 hour day. Dave told us about the history of Ireland as well as his personal stories of growing up in Ireland and pointing out landmarks along the way. The coaches were very comfortable, with WiFi and USB plugs.
Wild rovers go to many famous places around Ireland and I feel you get the perfect amount of time at each place, all attractions are payed for when booking your tour.

If you are in Ireland, I would definitely book with these guys.
