Isle of Skye Full Day 8-Seater Bus Tour from Inverness
From US$109,68
Overview
The Isle of Skye is widely considered the jewel in Scotland’s crown, but its isolated location makes visiting a challenge. On this full-day tour from Inverness, travel by air-conditioned bus through the Scottish Highlands to remote attractions including Eilean Donan Castle and the harbor village of Portree. Explore on foot during your free time, and enjoy personal attention from your guide on this small-group tour—limited to 8 people.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Inverness in the morning, and take a seat in your air-conditioned bus. Then, spin onward through the Scottish Highlands to begin your tour. Pass top natural attractions including Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, and listen as your guide sheds light on Scotland’s colorful history.

Stop to explore the peaks of the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle—home to native deer and wild eagles—then cross the sea to the remote and beautiful Isle of Skye.

Spin through the Cuillin mountain range and admire sweeping views over the rugged countryside. Then, stop for a seafood lunch (own expense) in the pretty harbor town of Portree.

With your guide to lead the way, explore Portree on foot and gain insight into the volcanic activity which formed rocky features including the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing. At Kilt Rock, gaze out across to the Torridon hills and admire the mighty rock pillars and waterfalls for which the area is known.

Stop for free time on route home at the Kyle of Lochalsh—a pretty Scottish village—then return in comfort to central Inverness to bring your tour to an end.

I can't answer that since I returned to Inverness. They might be able to arrange that since they were accommodating with me switching tours last minute. You should contact Cameron. He's very friendly.
