      Great for cruise ship passengers
Good itinerary and pacing to the day. Robert was our guide and he was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and very funny. We had a wonderful time and he got us back to our cruise ship right on time. He even advised us on what sights to go see at our next port (Edinburgh). Much better pricing and itinerary than those excursions offered by our cruise line and it was still convenient to be picked up from the port. I would choose to take a WOW tour again in the future.

Great day out. The scenery is amazing. The driver was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Multiple stops at the popular sights on the way to and,on the Isle of Skye. Despite a sore throat, the driver explained the myths legends and bloody history of the area brilliantly. Picked us up and dropped off at Invermoriston. Multiple toilet stop opportunities on route. Highly recommended

      Great Isle of Skye Tour
Andrew gave a great tour of the Isle of Skye! He allowed plenty of time at each stop! He entertained us with moving historical commentary about locations and Scottish stories that kept us on the edge of our seats! I was also impressed with how he directed traffic at the Fairy Pools with cars going the wrong way and parking in the wrong sections. That was helpful for everyone visiting the area! Thanks Andrew for a great tour 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      THE BEST TOUR COMPANY EVER!!!!
If I could give this company 100 stars I would! This company is the gold standard of tour companies and other companies could learn from how WOW Scotland operates! Starting with clear, correct communication made it easy for us to find them departing from our cruise ship, plus they were dressed the part and holding colorful signs! Next, assigned seats on the bus, what a brilliant idea, no pushing and shoving from people who want to be up front, no separating kids from parents because they happen to be last to board an no one will give up a seat. I wish every tour company would do this as we saw plenty of bad behavior from people with other tour companies. Murdoch was our guide and I can say I walked away from this tour learning so much about Scotland. He was funny, informative, friendly and professional, a real gem for your your company! Thank you for a lifetime of memories and making this shore excursion the best of our 28 day cruise!!!

      Stunning
Our guide, Murdock, was amazing. So many stories and such great information. He is truly a gifted story teller! We were definitely tired after the day, but it was so worth it! Skye was stunning. It looked like something from a movie, just other-worldly. After we finished the tour, I felt like my UK trip was complete. I would certainly recommend this tour!

      100% worth it, great time.
Murdoch was fabulous. He entertained us with information and fun stories throughout the day. The tour comprehensively covered the main parts of Skye, and then additional places outside of Skye. Unfortunately the road to the fairy pools were closed, and Murdoch sensed our sadness and put in a huge effort to save the day, taking us to several alternative sites including a different fairy pool. 10/10 would recommend.

      Amazing and detailed tour!
This was by far one of the best tours I've ever been on and it's a big thanks to our tour guide, Andrew. He navigated the roads like a pro, was knowledgeable on all things isle of Skye and had the humour and wits of a typical Welshman (so yes, very good!) I highly recommend WOW tour, their unique smaller approach to make tours feel more personal was a refreshing take on learning about Scotland! Big Thank you!

Great day trip to Skye with driver Andrew
We have had an amazing day trip to Skye. Our guide and driver Andrew was welcoming , friendly and I loved his stories and listening to him share his local knowledge. The bus was comfortable and being able to order lunch on board was really useful. 10/10 for a great tour and the 12 hours flew by!! Thanks

      Tour
Beautiful scenery and a great hike at the Fairy Pools. Andrew made the drive bearable. He was funny and knowledgeable. Don’t let the long drive scare you. We were able to see so many things without the hassle of renting a car.

      Great Guide
Andrew was our guide and he was fabulous. Company is WOW Scotland tours. The weather was lousy so hard to see some of the scenery. One suggestion, guide should tell us at the Fairy Pools to walk up to the Fairy Pools first. We got side tracked by scenery below. This tour provides a bakery to order your lunch from which the food looked very appealing with extra bakery included.

      Amazing trip to Skye!
I can’t say enough about our recent day trip to the Isle of Skye! The natural beauty was incredible and we got to see so much of it. Our favourite stop was the fairy pools where we were given 90 minutes to hike and explore on our own. But the true highlight of our trip was our guide Murdoch. He was an amazing storyteller and genuine nice guy. We were a little apprehensive about booking a 12 hour bus trip but he filled every moment with fascinating historical and mystical stories about the Highlands, and his voice sounds like your favourite podcast! He even did a late day stop at Urquart Castle and gave us extra time to watch a once in a lifetime wedding. Thank you for helping us fall in love with the Scottish Highlands!

Loved this trip to Isle of Skye!!
We had a truly lovely day on our full day Isle of Skye tour with Andrew!! This trip exceeded all of our expectations. We had beautiful weather and the sights couldn’t have been more breathtaking. Mostly, we felt cared for by Andrew. His stories of the history and region added depth to the tour, and he made the effort to get to know is personally. We paid the upgrade for front row seats (highly recommend - first of bus for lines for bathroom which gave us a bit more time at stops), and we enjoyed the extra quality time. Andrew even took time to point out birds for me since he knew I had my binoculars ready) and shared stories about our upcoming Scotland visits. And wow (no pun intended), he is a fabulous bus driver - what a skill on one lane roads. Lunch was delicious— highly recommend ordering!! All and all, a wonderful memory-making day for my family!!!

Andrew was a great tour guide and an even better storyteller! He also had some funny jokes! We had beautiful weather and an awesome experience. Thank you Andrew! Before our trip, we had some questions about pick up and drop off points. Kay was extremely responsive and helpful! Thank you Kay! Our family would do another WOW Scotland tour for sure!

      Amazing tour of Skye!
One of the best tours my wife and I have ever done! The tour itself was great and was made even better by the tour guide Andrew. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He kept all guests entertained and was an excellent navigator of the narrow roads. Each of the stops along the way were stunning and even with some bad weather, we got to see all of the best sights! Ordering lunch with the tour was a streamline and easy process and would highly recommend the Isle of Skye Baking Co. Portree was an adorable town and the tour allows enough time to stop and see the local shops. Amazing experience and would highly recommend!

WOW!!!!! Outstanding!!!! These are great and the driver was amazing I just wish I could remember his name. It may be due to 1 dram too many on the tour, entirely my fault. As an avid whisky drinker and novice collector I really enjoyed myself. We started the day by visiting Tomatin then Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Speyside Cooperage then my personal favorite Macallan. What a day! Its a must and you will find your perfect highland dram.

Myself and 5 friends celebrating our 40th birthdays took the tour, we all had a great time. Gordon the tour guide was great pointing out different facts as we passed. The tour took in 4 great distilleries and Speyside cooperage. The full tour at Tomatin was excellent followed by 3 tasting sessions at Glenlivet, Glenfarclas and Aberlour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Inverness

We took the WOW Whisky Bus Tour and were delighted we did. One of the reasons for our visit to Scotland was to appreciate its Scotch, and this tour provided one stop for an indepth distillery tour and tasting, and three other stops for tastings. It also included a fascinating tour of a cooperage, where we viewed the entire work floor as the gents worked on the whisky barrels.

Our kilted guide, Paul, had a wealth of information about Scotch, the Highlands, local lore and more. On this particular trip, he had one group going to distilleries and another group going to cultural sites -- and it worked perfectly! He even had us stop for a few photo ops -- including a family of 'helian coos' (Highland cows). The scenery on the ride through the countryside was beautiful.

This is a very relaxing way to really appreciate what goes into the making of Scotch and all its variations -- without having to get behind the wheel of a car. This is a long relaxing tour - ours was 8:45 AM until 6:45 PM - and we highly recommend it.

Thanks for such an enthusiastic and detailed review of our Whisky Bus. This will be very helpful for anyone looking for a whisky tour from Inverness. We are delighted you enjoyed your day and that you feel you have got a great insight into the world of Scotch Whisky - that makes us very happy, especially since that was one of your holiday goals. It is wonderful to know you appreciated all the tastings and that you were fascinated by the working cooperage (the largest working cooperage in the UK!). We are extremely proud of all of our experienced tour guides, and their knowledge really does add an extra element to this unique tour. Paul really appreciates your kind words. We've worked hard to carefully craft this tour so that it works well alongside our Highland and Speyside tour, so it is really good to learn that you found the day relaxing and that everything ran smoothly for you. Your group must have been great at sticking to the schedule to squeeze in some extra photo stops. We really appreciate your recommendation.

Gordon was our driver for this day long tour. There were only 8 of us on the tour. I liked that the tour doesn’t get canceled if there aren’t enough people on it. We went to 2 smaller distilleries and 2 larger ones. I would highly recommend this tour. It was informative, fun, and had lots of taste testing. Macallans was mind boggling and Glenlivets was slick. Tomatin was our first stop and they gave a thorough explanation both visual and auditory. And of course we stopped to see the Hairy Coos. This was my favorite tour in Scotland!

All of our tour departures are guaranteed; if you book, we go! We know that many companies will not offer this, but we also know that a last minute cancellation could jeopardise your whole holiday; we want to ensure that, from the minute you book, you have peace of mind that your tour will run, and that you will be given 5 star treatment! We are so glad that you enjoyed your day in Speyside with Gordon, and thank you so much for the wonderful review

We did a whisky tour from Inverness and had an absolutely fantastic time. Rob, our guide, was amazing. We had a slightly smaller group (which made for a very personal experience) and Rob added in various photo stops along the way. He provided an encyclopedic knowledge of the area and made some great recommendations for our next stop in Scotland. To top it all off, Rob stopped by the River Spey and gave us all a WOW Scotland souvenir Glencairn with a final couple drams. Overall excellent experience, would recommend to anyone.

As a family-run local company we like to treat our guests like friends, and take them to the places we'd take our friends to see when they visit. We are so glad that you appreciated the personal touch that Rob gave to this tour, and also our swanky new whisky glasses! Thank you very much for the 5 star rating and recommendation.

What an amazing day travelling through Speyside, seeing the beautiful scenery of the Scottish Highlands - with a guide both knowledgeable and passionate about the area...then to top it off there was the whisky. We saw 4 distilleries, with everything from a quick dram to a full tour of the process; as well as seeing the forgotten part of whisky - a cooperage.

Great day and recommended you both whisky snobs and those that are just interested in Scotland.

We loved our Whisky Tour with Wow Scotland and our amazing, engaging, kind and knowledgeable guide, Rob. We were able to experience the gamut of whisky distilleries from the very traditional and hands on to the uber automated and scientific. And we got to sample a wide variety of lovely whiskeys. The Speyside Cooperage tour was fantastic! I could have stayed there to watch them work for hours. And we had a really lovely day end with a taste of Macallan on the beach of the river.. a special and thoughtful touch to a truly beautifully done tour.

We love the title of your review and totally agree that, "all whisky, all day is a good day indeed"!! We have worked closely with our favourite distilleries to put together a tour which provides unique experiences at each place visited, and an excellent overview of the whisky industry. This, combined with +10 drams and some impromptu stops, makes for a great day, and we are delighted that you enjoyed it all so much!

    Hi,
Really recommend WOW Scotland and the Whiskey tour bus around Inverness. It is highly organized, distilleries chosen are fantastic and overall this is very well organized. Our bus had a malfunction at the first distillery and it took the organizers only 30min. to send an alternate bus.
Something to think about, is separating the historic tour from the Whiskey bus to two separate tours, so there is no co-dependency and complicated pick-up and drop-off calculations.
Overall we had a great day & experience, and highly recommend.

Our tour guide Bill was very informative.
A good variety of distilleries starting with Tomatin. My favourite distillery on the tour was Glenfarclas a very down to earth family run distillery.
    Beautiful scenery through the glens.
Excellent value for money and a seriously good day out, despite the weather!

This tour was amazing!! And I am not a whisky drinker! My husband is the whisky drinker, and we booked the tour to learn more about whisky and to (maybe) see if I would discover a whisky I liked (I didn't, but I am not a fan of alcohol in general).
Our guide did a great job of pointing out interesting facts as we rode in the bus, and was friendly and courteous. He also did a great job of organizing the lunches for everyone and kept us all together (which I imagine can be difficult - especially after a few samples of whisky in our bellies!).
There was so much great information and I learned a lot about whisky. And while I didn't find any I liked, I have a much greater appreciation for it and really enjoyed how much my husband enjoyed the experience (his favorite whiskeys were The Glenlivet and Aberlour) - we had a great time getting to know our fellow tourists and learning all about the whisky making process! This is definitely something folks can do, even ones who aren't particularly interested in whisky drinking. :)
