Overview
Delve into Edinburgh’s history on this ghost-themed night walking tour. Visit the Blair Street vaults and Canongate Kirkyard—two of the city’s most haunted destinations—while your costumed guide regales you with tales of torture, cannibalism, and witchery. Ideal for history buffs and those fascinated by the supernatural, this tour takes place under the cover of darkness to create an appropriately ghostly atmosphere.
What to Expect
Your evening begins at St. Giles High Kirk on High Street, where you meet your guide and set off on foot to explore the city.

The first stop is the Blair Street vaults, where you explore dark chambers and passageways and hear tales of cannibals, body snatchers, and restless souls.

Next, head to the Canongate Kirkyard cemetery, where you can watch for specters wandering the tombstones and listen to yet more ghostly history.

Your tour ends at Canongate graveyard.

Great experience made by Alun!

I was a bit skeptical that this would be an overdramatised and theatrical storytelling walk with little or no substance to Edinburgh’s history. We met our guide Alun at the meeting point and he immediately grabbed everyone’s attention and held it perfectly for the rest...More
