Great tour company and sites
Aug 2021 • Family
A fantastic walk through history and some small town UK culture. Mini-bus tour was comfortable with a small group and full COVID-19 precautions. Our guide was Henry, an excellent story teller, very knowledgeable, and had an excellent sense of humor. He also truly cared about the people on the tour, making sure we were comfortable always.

There is a a lot of walking on this tour and Hadrian’s wall hike is steep in some places. So bring good shoes.

Excellent tour with excellent guide!
Excellent guide! He provided a lot of information in a friendly way. He took the initiative to add new destinations that were not planned.

Hadrian's wall guide
The whole tour was spoiled from the outset by the drivers/guide (no name given) attitude and acting like a petty tyrant, using Covid as his excuse and using the 'ECHIMANN' defense it's not my fault I'm just following orders, of the political masters.
Throughout the day he droned on about himself as a musician and roll the people he had played with and trips to play with them. At one point he spent 20-30 minutes listing subjects he could talk about but not giving passengers a chance to ask questions til he finished. He did mention he was the Rabbies's trainer, so this does not fill one with confidence for improvement.

I had done a tour the previous day with the same company, different driver (Roland), which was excellent any only highlights how important a good guide is for a successful, enjoyable experience.

Many thanks for your feedback, we're very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the tour to Hadrian's wall. Though all guides will have a slightly different approach, each should be consistent in their focus on a positive customer experience and delivering an engaging and comfortable tour. It's disappointing to hear this wasn't the case. Please do contact us at feedback@rabbies.com so that we can identify your booking and follow up accordingly. Many thanks, Aimee

Fantastic, supperb!

This is my second trip with the Rabbies tour bus. I could find any travel agent outperform Rabbies. The Scottish-based tour guides always provide you with profound, interesting history and antidotes. My tour guide is Jim Scott, a friendly yet professional Scots, also an amazing photographer. Their passion for everything attached to their land will deeply move you, as well as the beauty of Scotland (also the Hadrian's Wall).

Thanks Jim!
Mar 2020
I want to thank Jim our guide for a great tour! initially I was the only person booked on the tour and at the last second another joined us. I appreciate how Rabbie's handled this situation and were willing to take me to see Hadrians Wall even though I was to be the only person on the tour. Jim was full of knowledge of the area and timed everything to get the best views despite the weather that was closing in. I highly recommend Rabbie's for your tour of Scotland!

Amazing time, amazing company
Mar 2020 • Couples
My boyfriend and I can’t recommend Rabbies enough. We’ve tried other tour companies in Edinburgh but none of them give you the same quality because they’re on big coach busses with massive group sizes. Our driver-guide Dave was one of the best we’ve ever had and was very knowledgeable and passionate about the tour. It was a great day!

A warm and friendly day of history
Took the tour today with Jim as the driver. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first taste of Scotland (even if part of the tour was in England). Friendly, funny and engaging.

A Grand Day Out

I was on this day trip and thoroughly enjoyed it!
A 5* experience from checking in at Rabbie’s café to being dropped back there in the evening!
Sean was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. He was able to make the tour a perfect fit for each of us even though we had very different expectations and interests.
Definitely recommend Rabbie’s and of course Sean.
