Overview

Especially with only limited time in Oxford, it can be hard to decide which wonderful historic building to explore—let alone get a true appreciation of what they are. Discover the Oxford you want to see, be that the world of Harry Potter or the “city of dreaming spires”, on a great-value private walking tour that’s tailor-made to suit your interests—and only yours.

What to Expect

Meet your private guide in central Oxford and explain any particular interests you may have, whether that’s the Oxford of Harry Potter, the world of Lewis Carroll, or historic Oxford. Your guide will discuss your options and arrange the best itinerary for the time available and the day.

Then stroll Oxford’s streets as your guide illuminates the city and answers every question you may have. You might choose to visit the Bodleian Library, first opened in 1602, Sir Christopher Wren’s Sheldonian Theatre, or the Hertford Bridge, known as the “Bridge of Sighs”. Once your tour ends, your guide will bid you farewell in the city center.

Outstanding Oxford introduction

Our tour guide James was utterly charming, informative and engaging as he took us on a walking tour of the University of Oxford. A definite must for a first time visitor to get some of the history highlights and insider information from an Oxford graduate.

Amazing tour

Had a tour with Tiba - she was beyond amazing. Very insightful history coupled with anecdotes about the towns relationship to Harry Potter and student shenanigans. Would highly recommend for a brilliant opening tour of the city if you've just arrived.
