Great guide for a splendid tour
Excellent Experience! It goes without saying that the Cotswolds are beautiful. What made this tour special was our tour guide James. He is knowledgeable, personable, funny, friendly. He did everything necessary to make the tour a success, and more. He assisted with ongoing arrangements for our party, and even assisted a driver in Birbury who had driven into a bottleneck in the tiny hamlet. This one's a keeper! And a special shout out to our driver, who handled city and countryside driving with ease. Well done all 'round.

We toured Leeds Castle, then had a brief but sufficient stop at Dover, and concluded at Canterbury and the cathedral
This trip is something I wanted to do for years. I tried to get to Canterbury Cathedral some time ago but was unable to. I think this experience on this tour is better than what I would have managed on my own. This was a very informative, not overbearing, and truly enjoyable experience. Some people like tours, and some people prefer to go on their own. This was a good mix, and we had time on our own, but a good amount of it was guided as well. The guide, Manon, was particularly knowledge and helpful. We had a minor issue (not the fault of the tour), which she’d helped us with and for such we were most appreciative.

    Go go go!
Go go go! We had such a wonderful day in the Cotswolds. The weather was perfect which helped but the best thing about the day was our most wonderful guide Megan. She was full of information about the history and things for us to do, see and eat! It was her birthday today so she bought everyone on the bus cupcakes 🧁 What a gem of a tour and gem of a guide. Thank you Megan.

Really enjoyed seeing these two historic and impressive castles on the same day. Gave a good insight to the surroundings of the Royal family. Lesley was great, very organised and clear what are timings were. Found her knowledgable and efficient.

    Ambitious tour
We booked an English speaking tour. We found out, however, that the company combined our tour with a Mandarin speaking tour. In our opinion this placed Eric Yeoh, our assigned tour guide, into double duty, and he shouldn’t have been in this position. Secondly there was a family of four who, after our first stop in Cambridge, were not at the arranged meeting spot. Our second leg of the trip to Oxford was delayed. When we finally arrived at Oxford we only had an hour there as opposed to 1.5 to 1.75 hours. The family didn’t seem to care how it affected the other 24 members of three tour group. In hindsight, two universities by motor coach was ambitious but I would recommend a five minute grace period for stragglers…

    Amazing Stonehenge and Bath Expensive!
Phillip was our tour guide and he did an amazing job providing information and recommendations. He took a photo of our family at Stonehenge! Sam, our driver on the coach expertly navigates the narrow roads.

Stonehenge + Windsor Castle Tour - Highly Recommend
This tour is top notch. Angela is a fountain of knowledge, and Gary is an excellent driver. My family of five (including two teens and a ten year old) debated between this, two attraction package (Stonehenge & Windsor) and the three attraction package (+ Bath). We are extremely grateful to have chosen just the two. We went during the height of tourist season, and both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle were jam-packed with world travelers. We would have found ourselves left with very little time to explore the attractions. I highly recommend this tour.

    Excellent service! Friendly and knowledgeable!
The company was very accommodating since we missed our initial tour. Angela, our guide, and Gary, our driver, were so patient, friendly and welcoming and turned our day right around. Angela was very knowledgeable and easily approachable for questions. Also had a great comic flair. Gary provided a smooth ride the entire time. Will definitely do a tour with them again!

We’ve visited several times before but this time it felt very crowded and a bit like a cattle market. We specifically wanted to see the Coronation robes. The Queen’s gown was stunning and the intricate embroidery can be seen close up. Disappointed that all the King’s robes of state weren’t on display, would have liked to see the supertunica and the timeline of what was worn when. The young staff at the cafe overlooking the gardens were doing their best but it was chaotic and £18.90 for two cups of tea and two scones with jam and cream was a lot considering they were served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, everything single use which didn’t feel very in keeping with the King’s Green credentials. Toilets were good!

This was my second time routing the palace. The last one was almost a decade ago, but I recall it not being as hectic as this one.

The tickets were a bit of a hassle and also pricier through Trip Advisor. We paid $75 each in advance and they were 33 pounds if we bought them at the palace. Lesson learned. Also, they told us we had to print them. Who has a printer or access to one on vacation? We went to a print shop, but it didn't matter because the link was broken (face palm). Once we arrived, we had to queue in two separate lines to get sorted. As I said, it was a hassle.

The tour currently has a room with coronation gowns and related content in it and that was interesting. The rest of it was fairly boring, to be honest. Perhaps I recall it being better when I was there 10 years ago.

Hey, if you've never been, you should see it. The changing of the guard walking tour is only 20 pounds and was far more interesting, so I recommend that one, for sure! (Fun London Tours). As for the palace, buy your tix there because they are far cheaper.

Visited here on Sunday 14 July. We really enjoyed our visit. It was so interesting to see and we had wanted to visit for a while. There was a lot of people there however there was space to view all the various rooms. There were staff dotted about in various areas who were happy to answer any questions. I really enjoyed seeing the portrait of King Charles in the ballroom. The gardens were spectacular. We visited the cafe snd ice cream parlour and i would recommend the ice cream it was so tasty.
We changed our tickets on exit to 1 year passes so hopefully we can visit again as it is somewhere thats worth additional visits.

Given as a gift voucher to visit the Queens Gallery, the Royal Mews and entrance to the state rooms of Buckingham Palace. What a gift to remember! Queen Gallery was exhibiting fashion through paintings with a few exhibits of clothing to view. Explaining how it had changed over the last century's, which was very interesting. Paintings by many famous artists to see. On to the Royal Mews which was practically next door, does not take too long to see but take the short tour with the guide to hear all about the few old cars that belonged to the majesty's and view the Golden carriage, a sight to see! listen to the history that surrounds the mews. Only two horses were in the stables the others are housed elsewhere so don't expect to see them. On to Buckingham Palace. If you do not do the others you must not miss the Palace. Wonderful ! You cannot take any photos and bags are searched on entry. You are guided through each of fourteen state rooms by the headphones you are given upon entry, these point out all the information you need in all different languages, there's no rush so you can take the tour at your own pace. We had little queueing anywhere. You see the Throne rooms, the ballroom, dining rooms, endless works of valuable art etc At the end you finish where they hold the garden party's out on the lawn, there is a tea room (the cakes/scones are delicious) and then you can wander around the garden at your leisure and of course the souvenir shop is there too. If you do nothing else when you come to London and you have always wondered what it is like when the royals go back inside from the royal balcony then you cannot miss this! Its reasonably priced so there is no reason to miss it!

This was the palace mews, with supposedly the queen's gallery, along with the queen's horses, fleet of cars and all the royal carriages. in reality there was no access to the queens gallery, which was closed, there were just 2 horses and you could only actually see one, there was one extremely dusty and broken down limosine only. The only aspect there was to see fully was the state carriages, so we felt totally ripped off that the high entrance fee was supposed to cover the horses, cars and gallery but all we really saw was carriages. What they should have done was reduce the entrance fee to reflect the lack of horses, cars and the gallery access - but no, they still charged everyone full price but delivered a fraction of the value of that. I would not recommend this attraction and am deterred from paying to see anything else at Buckingham Palace for fear of being ripped off again.

Dear julieC7, We're sorry to hear that your experience at the Palace Mews was not what you expected. We take all feedback seriously and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We apologize that the Queen's gallery was closed during your visit and that there were only a limited number of horses and cars available for viewing. We understand that this was disappointing and did not meet your expectations. Please note we are a third party provider and we would advise you to return to Viator ( the agent) to clear up any misunderstanding in regards to your expectations for this tour. Again thank you for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

This is a limited window to visit and they pack the people in. There are so many people you can't hardly breathe.
I was so hot I had an asthma attack.

The inside was sweltering hot, and packed like a sardine can. You are basically like cattle moving through.

If you take a large purse or have a backpack you are required to have it down and not wear it. That is kind of difficult with soooo many people. You cannot take photos as this is a working palace. (No photos is not a big deal) the place is dripping with history as well as wealth. Too bad they couldn't splurge for some air con!

I tried contacting the main contact person when wanting to add an additional guest to my original reservation. I never received a reply from them. We then realized that the wrong date had been booked and tried contacting the main contact person who again never replied back. For what was this tour is with a non-refundable policy and no one to speak to the price is a rip off.

Absolutely fabulous day. Started at the Mews which took just under an hour and then went to the Palace. Worth checking if changing of the guards is taking place … if they are, get tickets for after 11.30am so that you can watch them. Approx 2 hour tour around 14 stately rooms - stunning. Finished with a reasonably priced sandwich, clotted cream scone and cup of tea for about £16 per head (birthday treat). The Coronation exhibit was breathtaking … Highly recommend.

Any chance for a "commoner" to visit/tour inside of Buckingham Palace is well worth taking. Don't miss this experience the next time you are in London.
The State Rooms and priceless art are marvelous to view and imagine what life of the Royals was and is like.
