Turns out not a great deal. Been to Soho and enjoyed it so many times but without knowing much about it’s history. That changed yesterday - Alan enthusiastically lead us through the rock and roll history of the area. Loved the pubs we stopped at along the way, hearing tales of shenanigans whilst admiring the architectural beauty.
Great tour, would recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed a very interesting historic pub tour of Soho. We covered several pubs and enjoyed a drink in three of them. Lots of fascinating history in this small area dating back to 1666 right up to Elton John visiting the Dog and Duck. Harry was our amiable tour guide full of informative snippets of history and fun. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and Harry too.

Spent a very enjoyable evening with friends on a walking historic your of Soho. Learned a lot as Harry, our guide, brought the area to life with tales of this area's interesting past. The pubs along the way were a real highlight too. Excellent night out and highly recommended!

My wife and I were on our first day in London and had Clare as our tour guide. We went into the tour not knowing a whole lot about Soho but decided to try this tour. The tour itself surpassed expectations. Clare was absolutely fantastic, make sure to ask for her if you are joining this tour.

We did our tour last Friday with Harry and there really couldn't be any better guide. We really enjoyed ourselves as the time just flew by. We learned some very interresting things about Soho - and London or even the UK in general. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Claire guided our group on an entertaining tour of SOHO. We stopped at several pubs and bars to have a drink and discuss the hundreds of years of history in the place. It was amazing to sit where famous people such as George Orwell and John Lennon once sat. This tour was a great way to begin to understand this historic neighborhood in London.

We booked the Soho Walking Beer Tour for our third day in London. It was a good tour. We really liked two of the stops, the Dog and Duck, and the rock n roll bar that I can't remember the name of. Sadly, our fourth stop was closed so we only got to go to three of the four bars.

Theo was our guide and he was so welcoming, warm and funny. He chatted with us like friends, not shouting with some megaphone and pointing like some other tours. We stopped at several bars, handpicked because of their unique offerings or history. He drank with us at every stop and was in no rush to send us off after the tour. It was super relaxing and fun. I highly recommend to do this early in your trip to get a feel for the city and bars.

I am hoping to book all 12 slots for a birthday group on 30th November (even though we will be fewer). Can I discuss this and other details over the phone with organisers? Happy to use platform to pay.
Best wishes

Which pubs does this cover? I want to cover Dog and Duck (pictured), Lamb and Flag, French House but it's hard to gauge if I'm far off on what to expect.

Hi Jessica,
No it doesn't. Both tours go to separate parts of London!

Since I don't care for beer are there other drinks like tea? Can you buy food at the pubs?

You can buy other drinks from pubs or no drinks at all but at least with our tour we didn't have enough time to order food at pubs as we had an agenda of 3 pubs to visit.

Hola Buenas dias
Unfortuneately I cannot. What I can say is the tour is really good. The first pub has quite a history from the Dickensian period and the others are all good to visit on their own and have connections with some of the famous people to have lived and worked in London. The guide is excellent and knowlegable. The last is a pub frequented by John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix Mick Jagger and Keith Moon.
This is a very good way to get a feel for Londons history over the last 250 years. It is also great fun.
I can also recommend a tour of historic pubs of London which starts outside St Pauls Catherderal, much older history but equally interesting and great fun too. A great way to see london.
Is this tour included with the London pass? If so, how do I register through the pass?

Bonjour, est-ce que nous pouvons faire le tour avec une jeune fille de 14 ans (si elle ne boit pas)? Dans ce cas, faut-il également payer une place? Merci
