Overview
Learn about London’s royal history on this walking tour and get a chance to march alongside the Queen’s Guard. This tour is designed for visitors looking for a unique experience and photo opportunity who want to learn more about the monarchy and their significance. Go beyond the normal sights on this interactive tour.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at Piccadilly Circus at an agreed time and start with a short overview of the morning’s events. Then walk down Lower Regent Street towards Waterloo Place where you stop to hear some geography and history about the area.
Continue along the Mall, stopping at different landmarks, and then walk to St. James Palace, where the old Guard arrives for their inspection.
Next, you march in step with the Queen’s Guard, and then your guide leads you to Wellington Barracks, before finishing the tour with a view of Buckingham Palace.
Please note: you will need to keep apace with the Guard and climb two flights of stairs; so will need relative fitness to take the tour.
