Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge Tour from London
From US$146,18

British public transport takes time, energy, and, often, considerable expense. Make the most of even limited time in the country with this comprehensive coach tour that’s perfect for lovers of history. Learn the stories of Stonehenge, Roman Bath, and Windsor Castle as you explore them with your guide.

What to Expect

Board your coach in Victoria, central London, then head to Windsor Castle. See the lavish State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel, site of the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Next, head to the ancient stone circle known as Stonehenge, a UNESCO-listed enigma that has dominated Salisbury Plain for almost 5,000 years. Eat lunch on the coach as you travel to Bath, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After exploring the cobbled streets, head to the Roman Baths, a bathing complex built in Roman times and used to relax in the steaming waters from the local hot springs. Learn about life in Roman times as you stroll the site. Finally, your coach will drop you back in London: choose between Kensington and Victoria.

Treat as a bus service rather than a guided tour

The pick up at their bus stand was disorganised. The tour guide did not accompany you at Windsor Castle, and was minimal at Bath and Lacock, but at least the audio/visual provided at Stonehenge is from the visitor centre and good. The guide's commentary should...More

Mixed bag experience, but do read on...

The Great: Our driver and especially our guide: Alan and Graham respectively. Seriously great. Graham was funny, knowledgeable and almost annoyingly English - precisely as ordered! Alan’s driving was comfortable and that dude seriously knows how to manoeuvre a bus. Of note: Graham’s concern when...More

We booked a total of 3 tours with Golden Tours but the one for Windsor (ref 12727088) was terrible. The tour guide (I think her name is Rita) did not give us clear directions back to the coach nor was she outside the castle waiting...More

Thank you for taking the time to give Golden Tours the chance to offer you an explanation and investigate what happened on your tour at Windsor. We totally understand that it can be a very stressful experience to be left behind and then having to...More

Yes, unfortunately I believe it would be. Heathrow is MASSIVE and you will have to clear immigration, get your luggage and make your way to the meeting place. I really believe that you would miss the tour.

We were given enough time at each stop.. Windsor - 2 hours - we could explore the state apartments, doll house, St chapel church and the roam around the castle. Bath - 3 hours (usually 2 hours) - we went to Roman Bath and... More
