Best Way to See Cape Town and the Surrounds
Apr 2019 • Couples
We participated in two tours with Radheeka, the Legendary Cape Winelands Tour and the City Foodie Tour. Both were a success. We visited wineries in Stellenbosch and traveled all over Cape Town tasting different foods and beverages. We had a great time on both tours.

Great food and info
Mar 2019 • Couples
Just spent a great day with Radheeka walking around Cape Town. Public holiday so few things not open but plenty of options. Lots of great helpful advice, informative history and cultural background. Plenty of food and drink. Spontaneous wine tasting which was excellent and lots of great recommendations for rest of our stay in CT. Thanks Radheeka....10/10.

Private foodie tour of Cape Town
Dec 2018 • Couples
After having a wonderful experience on the Addo adventure tour with sister company Earthstompers, we decided to book a private foodie tour of Cape Town to celebrate my birthday and make the most of the day we were leaving South Africa. Our brilliant guide Rochelle based our day around our favourite things to eat and drink, and we managed to fit in coffee, wine, beer & ribs, botanical cocktails and delicious street food and were dropped off at the airport with a care package of chocolate & biltong! Rochelle went the extra mile to make the day feel celebratory, this really was the best way to spend our last day on holiday!

One of my favorite things we did in Cape Town! Radheeka was an excellent guide and showed us great spots we never would have found on our own. Great combo of food, drink and exploring the city. Highly recommend for any food lovers visiting the city!

We really enjoyed exploring Cape Town with Radheeka. She went out of her way to show us different food and tell us about the history. A full on day and well worth the money.

Yummy experience!
Aug 2017 • Couples
My husband and I ended up being the only two people on this tour. Our tour guide, Granwell, helped to make it an amazing day. It was really great to experience some behind the scenes things that you wouldn't normally get to see. We went to the roasting room at a coffee shop and also were able to go through a chocolate shop and see how they make all the chocolate. Lunch was fun as we got to experience a local brewery and some yummy food paired with beer there. We also went to a local butcher where he took the time to explain a lot of what he does to us and all about the meat scene in Cape Town. The biltong was sooooo yummy. This tour also took us through the fun, colorful streets of Bo Kaap and to a quaint little cheese shop where we enjoyed a cheese tray and wine. This was truly an amazing day and we would do this tour again if we went back to Cape Town.

Pleasurable day sampling the delightful wines of the Elgin Valley
Jan 2018 • Couples
We chose this day trip because it visited an wine district little known by the visiting tourist and offered us an opportunity to get to know another area only an hour's drive from Cape Town. Well the Elgin Valley is not only a wine growing region but also a fruit growing region nestled amongst some beautiful hills. Our first vineyard offered not only wine tasting but also olive oil tasting and we were guided through the different oils and then the different wines. The virgin olive oil with lemon was so good I bought some to bring home. We then moved on to a smaller vineyard and sampled their MCC wines (bubbly) and were shown the cellars and the wine making process was explained to us. Our guide Charlene then took us to a delightful restaurant serving their own home grown and cured meats, absolutely delicious. Then time to move on to another vineyard to sample more wine and here we decided to buy one of the bottles which did travel home in the suitcase in one piece thankfully. Finally a stop for some coffee and a farm shop selling all manner of interesting and local foods. Our only regret was that we hadn't done this earlier in our holiday so that we could have bought more wine to enjoy whilst in South Africa. Charlene as our guide for the day is a passionate advocate for good wine and food and was very good and easy company for the day, she not only knows about wine but about wildlife, her country and was very informative. It was a delightful day, sampling wine from small producers and tasting lovely local foods in beautiful scenery - what more could you ask for. Thank you Charlene.

Excellent Tour!!
Dec 2017 • Couples
We absolutely loved this food tour and it was definitely one of the most fun days we had in Cape Town! We did a private tour with Charlene and learned so much about Cape Town and loved all the food! We tried the best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had, beer and sausage pairing, African food and snacks as well as a cheese and wine pairing and oysters! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town!

A great experience surrounded with stories and laughter
Dec 2017 • Friends
A great experience is all in the people you get to share it with. The Thursday foodie tour with Charlene at Cape food and wine tours offered food in combination with a fantastic group of people, which made for a splendid day. We met people from all over the world with fantastic life stories to share and the interest in food in common, and there were great many laughters in this dynamic group. While picking the different group members up we got to see and learn about different parts of Cape Town. Cape food and wine tours then connected us with people who were really dedicated to what they were doing., be it coffee - or choolatemaking, beer or cheese. As a foodie, you had to love it. The laid back attitude added a relaxed atmosphere with room for dynamics and laughter throughout the day. I would like to thank my group members on this tour and Charlene for a great day. Thanks for a great day with focus on great visits, service and a whole lot of laughter. /Kim

Fantastic foodie tour
Oct 2017 • Solo
Charlene’s tour was thoroughly enjoyable. We sampled some delicious food, coffee, beer and wine, met passionate local foodies and learnt about Cape Town’s (food) history. It would be great to begin your visit to CT with this tour to map out the many restaurants and cafes to visit while there!
