Guests will arrive at base camp where they check in at our reception and then move into our briefing room to begin their safety briefing. Guests are then equipped with full body harnesses, helmets and gear for their tour.  The tour starts with a stunning 30min 4x4 drive through the Nature Reserve.  Two trained guides will accompany each group on the 4 hour tour, they will provide information about the endemic fynbos and geology of this unique World Heritage Site.   Guests will enjoy eleven thrilling slides, some over 300m long, each ending on a platform constructed on the cliffs above the Riviersonderend Gorge.  A unique suspension bridge between a narrow sandstone ravine high above a spectacular double waterfall is guaranteed to be one of the unforgettable highlights of the tour.   After the slides, there is 1km, relatively steep, hike back up to the 4x4 vehicles which will take guests down to base camp again.   We will operate in most weather conditions. Minimum age is 5yrs old.

A most memorable experience zipwiring across a beautiful canyon near Cape Town
Following our daughter's amazing wedding we treated ourselves to a most memorable experience. The training was top notch and the instructors great, even when they had to haul me up onto the landing platform. Views were spectacular. I would highly recommend this venue

      Part of nature!
Wow, what an incredible experience. We loved visiting the nature reserve. Our guides were Gummy and Destiny and they were absolutely fabulous at looking after us. We felt safe and well informed at all times as well as comfortable and Gummy’s lovely friendly funny sense of humour kept us at ease and made us laugh! The environment is breathtaking, the whole experience is so natural and not commercialised at all. The 4x4 drive into the mountains was very bumpy but we were lucky enough to have the VIP jeep which was very comfortable. Fabulous experience, would definitely recommend.

Excellent guides! The experience was wonderful. The time went by so fast. It was a "can't miss" adventure.
The views are insane. The whole idea is insane. You wonder how anybody got the idea to zip here but you are glad they did! You zip 11 lines but it feels like you were there only 15 minutes, the time flys. The guides are fun yo be with but are still professional and safety conscience.

DO THIS! It is an incredible experience!
This was one of our favorite days in South Africa. We traveled with our four kids ages 18 to 26. The views were incredible, the guides were entertaining, the equipment was updated, everything about the day is highly recommended. The guides were very in tune to my son was special-needs and his fears. After his first two jumps, they realized he wanted to quit and turn around. They had an incredible partnership between the two of them and made my son choose to stay. They were able to ride tandem with him for every ride following. We did all think the one km hike at the end seemed a lot longer, but probably because it is uphill. Just be prepared.

Possibly one of my top 3 adventures, wow and or the more special doing this with family
I am going to be honest this is a one where I said to myself what have I booked us into but wow highlight of an amazing South African holiday. Recommended this adventure by our South African friends. Went with myself and family , husband and 3 kids. Bumpy well so I thought getting to the place , friendly reception and some other adventurers had just returned and were buzzing. Went through safety talk and then kitted up. We had 2 guides Ngoni and Ronwill and off we went off road . This is possibly the most bumpiest drive going through a valley and slow climb up the mountain. I am not great with heights so there was a lot of eyes closed as we headed up along side mountain tracks. When we got to the top the realisation of what we were about to do hit home. As my youngest was so light it was decided for the first few zips Ronwill would ‘Uber her across. At all times Ronwill and Ngoni were on point with safety , reminding us of how to position when zipping , on the platforms. Massive shout out to Ngoni and Ronwill, they relaxed our nerves, particularly mine and made us laugh so much . They have walkie-talkies and constantly in touch and we loved the nicknames that they gave us all. There were times when I wasn’t ready and the guides were so patient. As a family this was the best adventure and I still can’t believe we did it . Ngoni and Ronwill, thank you

my second time on this tour. Landscape and Zipline experience is grandios. Hence 2 stars.
However: the first time my son in law produced a great video of our experience. This time we were a different group and I intended to record it on MY camera and produce a video MYSELF. I was thwarted in that effort by the guides who commandeered us into a certain order and often into a single file like sheep. I at first thought they had some new security concerns. It turned out that THEY wanted to record us and ”if you are not in the order of the numbers on the helmet we might send the wrong movie to the wrong person“. The intention is to then sell the movie to us.
I do not recall having signed up as an actor for a production that I then am supposed to buy and for that goal have agreed to be commandeered into a certain order of movement. My video never transpired. Instead I was pissed! 2 stars, no tip and certainly no return visit are the result.

Thanks very much for the feedback, we do appreciate it. Whilst we encourage our guests to take as many photos and videos as they like, certain guests are uncomfortable taking their phones or cameras on the tour. As such we offer a tour video of your trip, and generally the feedback has been great. This is an optional service that we provide, but we do apologise if this wasn't to your preference. We'd be happy to chat to you about assisting you with your video in the future, as we would love for you to have the best time possible, and if there's a way we can do better, we will gladly do so

Thanks to Tommy for being the perfect guide. I was petrified but he made me feel so safe and secure by "uber'ing" me that I thoroughly enjoyed my 60th birthday outing gift from our 3 children. I will be back and will go solo.

    Thank you Tommy!!

After a thorough briefing which eased nerves for most, we had a marvellous ride up the mountain to the start of our zip-line experience. We were expertly led by Flo and Kay Kay, who handled the group in a friendly, yet professional manner. We who completed the 11 lines all loved the experience, for the thrill of the rides and also the wonderful scenery. My wife and I would certainly love to do the same sort of thing again.

The product provided is 100% fabulous and beautiful.

The execution of the actual trip from basecamp and back was also masterfully executed.
Well worth the time and experience.
    HOWEVER,
When it comes to online customer service and support or communications, Including providing Electronic deliverables as part of the package, they fall way short.

Thanks very much for the positive feedback, we're really glad that you enjoyed the tour and had a great time. We apologise for the delay in sending the complimentary video, we really pride ourselves on our speedy service and this is below par. There was an issue with the software company that we use to send the videos and they had to resend all the videos for the festive season. All of the videos have been edited, but the software issue resulted in a massive queue for the uploads. Please send us an email and we'll gladly send you your video using WeTransfer in the meantime.

We did the Cape Conopy Tour as a family - kids, parents and grandparents - and we had a wonderful time. Upon arrival we had a safety briefing.

A coffee shop and toilet facilities are available and you can purchase a cooldrink or water prior to your trip.

The 30min 4X4 drive to the starting point was fantastic! Once you complete the first two ziplines you have an opprtunity to bail out. No one in our group wanted to miss out on the fun so we continued. This zipline requires a harnass which also goes over your shoulders. I really like it since I felt more secure and it allows more freedom which you get to enjoy on some of the ziplines.

This was the firts time I experienced a zipline which allows the guide to break the speed of your approach which was another awesome feature for those with less experience with ziplining. This was the best canopy tour I’ve done to date. The views are awesome and I loved seeing the waterfalls.

Brandon and Lucky were our gides. Brandon in particular really added to the cheerful and fun ambiance of the entire experience. We felt safe and the guides followed safety regulations. The guides were excellent.

We did the tour at the end of May. Check the weather and wear warm clothing. Once you are in your harness it is not really possible to change your clothing so choose wisely.

The experience really does take 4 and a half hours so have a meal or snack before you start the tour. You can bring a water bottle and they will tie it to you harness.

There is a 1km uphill hike at the end of the tour before driving back.

More tips: Leave some water for the short hike. I would also advise doing this as a group. Please leave your car keys and wallet at reception! I had some tissues and lip balm in my pocket and these came in handy. If you decide to take a phone be sure to wear a jacket with pockets which can close with a zip. You will wear a helmet so maybe bring a buff to wear under the helmet - it also helps if you have helmet hair afterwards! The Elgin Railway Market is a great stop after the tour if you happen to do this over the weekend. Houwhoek or Peregrine farm stalls are also great options. You can pay with a credit card. Check the weather since you can chance the time up to 24 hours beforehand. Comfortable sport shoes are a must. I kept my sunglasses on and luckily I did not lose them. If you have a sunglass strap you could bring it along.

A stricter lockdown had come into South Africa so with all the beaches closed we were looking for something fun to do with our 11 year old son. Having done Tree top Canope in Chile a couple of years earlier I just sort of assumed this would be the same sort of thing. How wrong I was. This is on another level! The heights and distances you do the zip wiring across are insane. It's highly intense but utterly thrilling. We were in a fun group and whilst because of this it took a little longer to complete the 11 zip wire course it was a great way to take in the stunning views. We had two very upbeat, professional guys with us, Noah and Brendan but my god i won't deny that the voice of fear entered my head more than once when it came to my harness and the wires themselves. Talk about testing my Trust Muscle!! An incredible experience i'd definitely recommend.
