Overview
Visit Victoria and Butchart Gardens from Vancouver on a full-day tour that takes care of booking transport and offers a flexible mix of guided and independent time. You’ll have gorgeous views of the Gulf Islands while crossing to Vancouver Island, enjoy time to stroll Butchart Gardens, then head to Victoria’s waterside downtown to browse shops and historic architecture.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Vancouver, then board a ferry at Tsawwassen for the beautiful trip to Vancouver Island, watching for eagles, sea lions, and whales as you cruise. Upon arrival on the island, head to Butchart Gardens, whose network of themed gardens wrap around a massive dancing fountain.

Following your time in Butchart Gardens, head to the Victoria waterfront, where you’ll find Vancouver Island landmarks from the British Columbia Parliament buildings to the imposing Fairmont Empress Hotel, a favorite for elegant high teas. Here, take advantage of free time to explore, whether you want to stroll the Inner Harbor, check out downtown shops, or visit a local restaurant for lunch.

After a day on Vancouver Island, begin the return trip to Vancouver by bus and ferry, enjoying evening light as you travel back through the scenic Gulf Islands.

Yes! The price of the tour includes the entry fee into the gardens. Its best to contact the tour company directly about ferry times.
