Stop At: El Meco Ruins, Carretera Puerto Juarez, Lopez Portillo, Puerto Juarez 77500 Mexico

El Meco, a small but influential Mayan Archaeological site located in Cancun, was just recently opened to the public. The site is well preserved and worth a visit before heading to Cancun beaches or hopping on the Isla Mujeres ferry. The Itzamna influence is evident in this location. Stop At: Puerto Morelos Flea Market, 100 Av. Rafael E. Melgar, Puerto Morelos Mexico

Stop At: La Ruta de los Cenotes, Puerto Morelos Mexico

One of the best areas for experiencing cenotes in the Riviera Maya is a strip in Puerto Morelos, where cenotes dot the jungle on either side of the road for several kilometers. Get to know the cenote called "Ojo de jaguar" that means eye of the Jaguar.
