Worth it!
Sep 2021 • Solo
This day trip is a long one, but worth it. If you like history and ruins, this is for you! Both Tulum and Coba are beautiful and full of Mayan history. The view of the ocean is fantastic in Tulum, too. Lunch was good, basic Mayan food of rice, beans and chicken plus more. The cenote is a smaller one, but beautiful and refreshing. We also stopped in Playa Del Carmen on the way back for sobme shopping. All in all, a fantastic day. Our tour guide Pietro and driver Raul were wonderful!

Too expensive for a low quality service. Keep looking.
Really disappointed with this experience. Paid too much for a tour that was worth, at the very most, half of the price. Our guide wasn't knowledgeable and didn't communicate clearly about the schedule or what we were doing next. He often behaved more like a driver, dropping us off at places and coming back to pick us up after a while. The restaurant they took us was in the middle of nowhere, the food was poorly seasoned and the options were very limited. It doesn't take a chef to serve pasta with canned red sauce, honestly (which was the only thing I could have from there). The places are worth going, just choose another company.

Awesome Experience! Well worth it!
Sep 2021 • Couples
This tour was pretty awesome! We love adventure and this trip was so worth it! Hernan (our driver) knew exactly which routes to take to get there fastest, Raymundo and Alfredo were excellent as well, super knowledgeable, nice, funny and willing to share their info with us, I loved that they went into each place with us and explained a little more about Tulum, Cobá and Cenote Casa Tortuga. I had two most favorite parts of this trip, the first one was in Cobá, you can rent a bike (60 pesos) or a "mayan uber"(tricycle w/driver) and make your way through the ruins, we chose the bikes, it started raining on our way back to the meeting point andy hubby and I got completely soaked, it reminded me so much of my childhood and with such beautiful scenery how could it not my favorite. The second most favorite was the Cenote swim, we only had an hour here but that is honestly all the time you need to wonder around while cooling off.

Worst part: the food! Being from Mexico gives you certain expectations of the food prepared in your home country and this was honestly the disappointing thing, don't get me wrong, it was ok food but that's it.

GOOD
1. They take supper late reservations and fast accepting. My reservation was confirmed at 11:23 PM of the night before the trip(about 8 hours before the trip start). I did process it pretty late(After 11).
2. Cenote swim is pretty cool. The water is very cool compared to the weather which feels great. (LOOK AT BAD #2)

BAD
1. Terrible pickup experience. I have to call them around 6:30 AM to found out that we will be pick up by 7 at our resort. We didn't miss the trip but it was a struggle.
2. Our transportation HAS NO AC!!! This is THE WORST. It is mid-AUG and we have about 10+ people in the car with MASK and NO AC!!!. THAT IS A DISASTER This basically messes up everything about this trip. It gives me no energy or drives to enjoy anything but annoying by the heat. This condition definitely enhances my experience on the Cenote swim.
3. Tour guide has a heavy accent. I can barely understand what tour guys say throughout the day. OR, It just too hot cause me not understanding.
4. That lunch. Let me say it is eatable, but I feel it's a great waste of my time. it feels like street toco food in a room with no AC. And they try to sell you the drink. It seems other trips lunch is eating over there too. I am still annoyed about that lunch. I am not expecting anything fancy. All I expecting is clean and OK. I feel less of either.

Overall
I regret this trip pretty bad. Even this is the only trip we did. That AC thing is EHHHHHHHH.

Excursion to Tulum, Coba, Playa Del Carmen, and Cenotes
You definitely get your money’s worth and more. There was so much to see. The tour ran later than expected and it was a total of 14 hours of travel and sightseeing time. It’s an all day and night excursion.

BEWARE! Not as described in Tripadvisor
Aug 2021
We started this trip with the left foot. Not only we had to wait for the bus for 30 minutes (they were supposed to arrive at 7:20 AM at our hotel lobby and they arrived at 7:50 AM), but as soon as the trip started the main guide, Ricardo, mentioned that we will only have 60 minutes at Cobá, despite the two-hours advertised in Tripadvisor. When I brought this forward to him, he claimed that the description was wrong and that we were not allowed to spend more than one hour at Cobá.

After that, we were hoping for things to get better but they only got worse and by the afternoon, we wanted to head back to the hotel. The tour at Tulum was again shorter than described and our guide, Orco, gave us a really lousy 35-minute tour and 25 minutes to explore by ourselves. The beach that we were supposed to visit was of course inaccessible. We then headed to have lunch in a not-so-great canteen where the food was only OK. After a rushed buffet, we were finally taken to Cobá, where things started to get out of hand. The guides didn't inform us of the time to back and they were nowhere to be found while on the activity. If it were not for our helpful tricycle driver, we wouldn't have had any guide through the ruins whatsoever.

By the time we headed to the cenote we were already tired and decided not to participate in the activity. While taking a walk around the area, we found out that the establishment was providing lockers and showers, two important pieces of information that again our tour guides failed to or decided not to mention.

Finally, the hour-visit to Playa del Carmen was OK, but for us, it was a total waste of time that we could have used to explore more of the Mayan ruins.

You may like this tour if you are only interested in taking the picture for IG and hit the next landmark, but if you are expecting to explore and learn about the Mayan culture in full depth as we wanted to, this is not the trip for you. And NO, I will definitely not recommend this tour to anyone.

Do yourself a favor and don't book this trip
I rate this tour at 1. I would give 0 but you cannot do that here. First of all, description is misleading (to say the least).
What you think you buing is 3 activities, what you are ACTUALLY buing is 4 acrivities. With the same trip time, it means that on each activity you wanted, you get 20-30 minutes less. And what is this 4th activity? They will just drop you in Playa de Carmen for an hour. Do what you want. In the description there is no a single word about this.

Whole trip starts as usuall ~1.5 hour of picking up people from their hotels.
Then we went to Tulum. That was actually the best part of the trip. We saw acient ruins, our second tour guide gives us detailed descriptions of each building, and then we had 25 minutes to explore on our on. We get to the meeting point 5 minutes before time, and our guide was nowhere to be found. We find out the first tour guide and he said that everyone is waiting in the bus already.

Second place we have visited was Coba ruins. When we arrived, our tour guide told us that we HAVE TO rent a bike, because site is to large and we don't have that much time. Of course we had to pay for the bikes ourselfs. We choose option with three wheels bike, driven by local. They drive us to Nohoch Mul piramid. Our guide just point us there, saying nothing. During whole stay in Coba, we didn't get ANY informations about this place from our guides. What worse, they dissapear when we were taking photos. We tried to find them for few minutes, but after that we just decide to explore with our bike driver.
I was suprise how much information about this place he gave us. Unfortunately only in spanish, but if you have no problem with that, I really encourage you to drive with on of the locals.

When we finaly get back to the entrance, we saw our guide waiting for people. My girlfriend run to him quickly and asked if we still have some time and he responed that around 2 minutes. She went to tak some pictures. When I reach the guide like 1 min later he told me that I am 15 minutes late and everyone is waiting for me. I quickly texted my girlfriend to come back and we run to the bus, only to find out that there is like 10 people (out of 28) inside. We still have to wait for the rest like 15 minutes.
Btw, in the description you will find information that maximum group size is 15, our was 28. Also forget about clibing on the piramid. It is forbidden since covid, when in the description is clearly stated that we will climb.

Third activity was the cenote, and again I was really disappointed. We run to the farthest one, and our guide just told us we have 45 minutes. People from our trip just start to changing right where they stayed, as nobody told them there is a shower and changing rooms just 3 minutes away.
Also the place is filled with mosquitos, and no information was provided so we can prepare for that.

At the very end we were just dropped in Playa del Carmen for an hour. No information, nothing. They just point a direction and said we must be back in an hour.

We started this trip at 7:20 am, we get back to our hotel at 9:00 pm. In description you have information that the trip is 11 h.

To summarize: they lie to you at every step, bring a lot of hidden charges and are very unprofessional. Don't get me wrong, Tulum and Coba are places worth to see, just choose different company.

Tulum Visit
It was a great experience. Very very hot so be ready to sweat through whatever you’re wearing! I eventually just wore my bikini top the whole time. Bring water and proper shoes. The least amount of things to carry the better. They will provide water at the end of the first one. I did wish the van had a little better AC but the food was amazing. The cenotes was super fun! Our guide was very good and informative, she definitely knew what she was talking about the whole time!!

Started ruff but ended great!
Aug 2021 • Couples
The trip started off rough but the guide did a Connolly complete turnaround. The ticket email said to meet at 7a, but the receipt said 7:30a for departure. We weren't sure if we missed the bus until some time after 7:30 it pulled up.

I didn't like getting in on a bus to go check-in somewhere to only get back on the same bus. We list 2 hrs doing that.

However, the Coba Ruins were amazing. The ruins inside the jungle (the name escapes me) was awesome, and the guide won all his points back for taking us to the Tres Cenotes at the 2nd Cenote where it want crowded. It was amazing!!!

Other than the start, the rep was great and our guide was awesome. Thank you!
