Make your way to the main beach in Bayahíbe, where you’ll board a 50-foot (15-meter) catamaran for a 9am departure. Take in sweeping views of the Dominican coast as you travel under sail, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available on board.
On your way to Saona Island, the captain will stop at some natural pools, where you’ll find ultra clear water and colorful starfish visible from the surface. Pause long enough to photograph the scenic spot and swim off the boat, then continue to Saona Island for a buffet lunch.
You’ll enjoy a meal in the shade of some swaying palm trees, then spend the rest of the day exactly as you wish, with roughly four hours on the island. Swim from the beach, stretch out on a sun bed, or visit one of the island bars to dance merengue in the sun.
Meet back up with the crew for the return trip to Bayahíbe, and sip drinks from the open bar as you relax on deck. This full-day Saona Island tour concludes at the Bayahíbe beach at roughly 4pm.
