Best time ever!! Darren and Steph were amazing guides and made sure we were safe but mainly had fun. They were encouraging enough to push you out of your comfort zone but happy to let you go at your own pace if that's what you prefer. They take photos as you go and capture the experience perfectly so you can just focus on having the best time. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thanks again to Darren & Steph for making our holiday one to remember

We had a really great experience Canyoning. This was a great way to get a little bit of an adrenaline rush, while seeing Africa off the usual city path that some might take on a road trip. The guides were encouraging and if you were afraid of heights, ensured you stayed up front and had support the entire time. There was one guide who did make some inappropriate comments and jokes, several which were sexual in nature which made me uncomfortable (such as “are you ready sexy?” Before jumping). Other than that, this was a fantastic experience.

It was an amazone canon trip with high jumps from the rocks and great abseilers. I'm 64 years old and have a good condition. The guides guided all of us very good and followed strictly the rule: 'safety first'. They had a good sense of humor. I liked it to do this with my son. Thnx!

We had a terrific time with Julian and Warren in the canyon. The guys were professional and fun and made sure we were both safe and having a good time throughout. This activity was reasonably challenging in that your balance is tested, but not anything a reasonably fit person can't handle. We went with our kids 9, 12 and 14 and they crushed it. If you're considering this and you have kids in this age range and they are adventurous they will absolutely love it. Additionally, the entire staff from Essie with great communication to the guys helping us get sorted at base camp and driven to the drop off were A+ pros and helped make for a great experience.

One of the best experience of my life. Major thanks to Darren and Steph for being the best tour guides. They were patient, reassuring, and so so kind. They even gave me a push when I got tired of swimming😂. From arrival to the end of the trip, everyone was so welcoming. As for what actually happens in the canyoning tour, you have to experience it yourself to understand😍😍😍. Words wouldn't do it justice. Thank you Darren and Steph, I'll BE BACK ✌🏾✌🏾

We had the most AMAZING adventure with Africanyon. Our guides, Puna & Steph were incredible, fun, informative and great with our youngest who was nervous but instantly became the leader of the pack! The best experience from start to finish. It is SUCH FUN! We are so privileged to have this on our doorstep. Cannot wait to do it again

My wife and I had a fantastic canyoning experience. Abseiling, zip-lining and swimming our way down the river was an amazing way to spend the morning as we saw the beauty that South Africa has to offer. Warren & Puna were brilliant guides, ensuring that we were safe at all times but also had a really fun time!

Went with my son and had a fantastic experience, would recommend to anyone of any age. Darren & Steph were great guides. The only thing that stops me giving this 5 stars is that I paid 200 Rand for pictures of the trip - I was promised that they would email me a link for the pictures once they were uploaded. More than 2 weeks since then I have heard nothing. This is really disappointing and has taken the shine off it for me. I strongly suggest that people enjoy the activity but save the money on the pictures.

The activity was amazing, the path was safe. Puna and Warren were our guides and they were helpful and funny and we had a wonderful water adventure. It felt a bit rushed during the activity as we didn’t have the opportunity to take group pictures so would have liked the experience to go a little slower but apart from that all was amazing and would do it again.
