    Very nice driver
Our Tour was very cool. The Sunrise was beautiful but you have to Be early to get a good seat with a good view. Because a lot of People want to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was suprising yummy and they had fresh cooked eggs and omelett, fruits and traditional Indonesian Food. After that we went to 2 little temple also really beautiful, BUT be careful! On the Street there are a lot of women selling souvenirs and clothes. They are really annoying and persistent. And they want to force you buying something. The Jeep Tour was ok and the driver Wants to take hundreds of Photos of us but that was very Sweet and funny. All in all everthing was Fine and interesting and its worth it to book this Tour. But only the sunrise Borobudur would be enough. Our driver of the hole Tour was pretty amazing and he told us a lot about the culture.

    Friendly, professional tour.
Anang was my driver for this trip. The entire tour was about 15 hours. He was very helpful and took his time to show me around Borobudur and Dieng. I really appreciated that he showed me around a local village near the Borobudur temple— I was able to see the home of an elderly woman and had tea with coconut sugar she made. Anang also took me to some unplanned sites—like the Dieng volcanic complex and Telaga Warna lake. Be sure to wear warm clothing to see the sunrise at Borobudur and pack some snacks. There were minor language barriers but nothing major. All in all, I had a great time seeing the great sites—thanks, Anang!

    Amazing
Because of Merapi activity, they change with Merbabu which is higher. this is not so easy to go on the top. But the sunrise is wonderful, the panaroma amazing. The guide was very nice. We arrive at 4AM on the top, he prepare a small fire for coffee. Honnestly, very good tour.

    Worth it
It was a worth it option. We were up and running by 3:30am and came back at 3pm. Action packed but still with enough breathing room to relax halfway the tour. I recommend this tour as it has highlights of the yogyakarta experience.

Borobodur was magnificant, the elephants in chains were shocking
Borobodur temple is stunning, but I was stunned to find that 5 chained elephants are available for tourists to ride them and take photo's with them. Nowadays it's all over the news and social media that this is a severe form of exploitation of these animals and we should all refrain from stimulating that. Please enjoy the beauty of the temple and please, don't go riding on the elephants or take photo's with them.

    Very good!
We had a great time, our driver was really nice and took us to a few extra things along the way such as a buddhist monastery and a place where they make Luwak coffee which was really interesting. The day was smooth and everything ran on time and as expected. Would recommend!!

A 100% must when you visit Yogyakarta
Our driver/guide Doro (Sorry if I spelled it incorrectly), picked us up from the hotel and we went on a long drive to Dieng Plateau. The drive wasn't boring, as the scenery along the way was breathtaking and we would look left and right amazed at how beautiful and magical the place is. We took a short stop at a place going up and we took so many pictures and stayed there for over an hour, and Doro never rushed us and encouraged us to take more and he took some of them for us when we requested. We left there and went straight for the top. Arriving there we were blown away at how big and awe inspiring the place is. Even thought they were some tourists there, we basically had the place for ourselves and took pictures and videos till we were tired. Doro helped us take pictures and walked with us through all the good places. This tour is one of the best if not the best tour for Dieng Plateau, I would recommend this to everyone, the only downside is the drive which is 3 hours from the center of Yogyakarta , and so much worth it in my opinion.

    Good company!
My guide was wonderful! He was a good source of information on the details and the history of Borobudur and surrounding temples. As a solo traveler, he was also a good source of conversation! He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and doing what I wanted to do to get the most out of the experience.

Excellent tour of Borobudur and two other local temples!
This was a great tour at a good price! We knew we didn't need a whole day to see Borobudur, so this half day looked perfect, and it was. We were picked up early at 8 by our driver, who took us to Borobudur. It wasn't too busy - Monday is a good day to go. The tour had arranged for an English-speaking guide, who met us once we had passed inside. The guide was extremely informative and took us on a fascinating hour-long winding walk up to the top of the temple, then left us to enjoy the rest of our time. Once we were done, we met up with our driver again and we were off to two smaller temples nearby, Pawon, then Mendut. Right next to Mendut temple is a Buddhist monastery which I highly recommend stopping by. All in all a well-scheduled and organized tour.

    Awesome experience
Our driver picked us up at 9am and the journey was quite winding and long. Be prepared with some motion sickness medication for those who are not too use to it. It was a 2hrs plus journey from Ibis Malioboro. We reached the place around 12pm due to some stops. We decided to have our lunch first at the Lobster place. Price was reasonable and food was ok. Next we need to go on a modified Jeep to get to the top. It was a bumpy ride but adventurous. But as you reach the destination it was really worth it. The view was breathtaking. After encouraging each other to conquer our fear of heights we decided to take the Gondola ride. We need to pay Idr200k each for the ride. And yes we made it. Overall an awesome experience.

the caves are great, but this is a slow paced group tour.
we loved the caves that were included in this tour, but you end up waiting for a big group to be lowered into the cave at a set time. this whole day could have been about 6-7 hours total, but it ended up closer to 10. i felt that it was a lot of waiting around with a group that i didn't anticipate being attached to, but worth it regardless. that said, this tour was overpriced for Indonesia, considering how inexpensive everything else is. prepare to get dirty! it is muddy down there, you will not stay clean. our tour guide was nice, the car was fine and the small prepared lunches were good too.
