The itinerary below is a sample only: the actual schedule for your visit will depend on your ship’s arrival and departure times.
Meet your guide at the cruise terminal in the morning and enjoy a panoramic city tour, viewing sights including Vasilyevsky Island, Peter the Great’s cabin, the Bronze Horseman, and St. Nicholas' Cathedral.
Continue to the Peterhof, the 18th-century palace designed by Peter the Great. Stroll the Upper Gardens and Lower Park, replete with its Grand Cascade, before a traditional lunch and trip to Tsarskoe Selo, home to the magnificent Catherine Palace. Tour the palace gardens and interiors, including the Amber Room, before returning to your ship for the evening at leisure.
After a morning meet-up with your guide at the port, ride St. Petersburg’s subway to see its ornate metro stations, and enjoy a canal boat ride past the city’s palaces, bridges, and churches. Then, visit the Hermitage Museum and Church of the Spilled Blood before a local lunch—including famous Stolle’s pies—and a guided tour of the Faberge Museum.
Finish with shopping along Nevsky Prospekt, including time at the historical Eliseyev Emporium, before you’re returned to your ship.
