Our experience with African Horse Company was absolutely lovely. We rode partway up the mountain, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. The excursion was thoughtfully designed to cater beautifully to both beginners and experienced riders, making it an inclusive and enjoyable adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-guided, scenic horseback riding experience.

We loved the horse ride through the mountains and had such a great morning on the horses. The scenery was surprisingly diverse and very beautiful. Helmut is a nice guy, who clearly cares for the area. He made the ride very relaxing and enjoyable, even for a beginner rider.

The African Horse Company has a vast arrays of possible rides and experiences. I have talked with those who know-- and I look forward to taking my granddaughter of 15 whenever we can arrange a transatlantic flight over. I am also aware that Howard makes access to his horses available to special learning children so they can make contact and have a personal touch with a horse. Very exciting to say the least. Bravo to Howard for his service.

My dad and I did the 2hr mountain ride with Howard. What a lovely experience to be in the foothills surrounded by glorious fynbos. Beautiful and peaceful. Our horses Patches and Pico were well behaved and sure footed. There are opportunities for experienced riders to trot and canter. A highlight of our visit to Stanford.

We did a family ride through the mountains of Stanford. Randall was an excellent guide and host. Our kids loved every moment of the ride. The horses are really well groomed and trained. The temperament of the horses was well suited to a family ride.
