Tokyo Tower, Tea Ceremony and Sumida River Cruise Day Tour
From US$108,79

This is the ultimate whistle-stop day tour around Tokyo and an ideal choice for visitors with limited time in Japan's capital. Skip the lines and see panoramic views of Tokyo’s skyline from Tokyo Tower then learn about Japanese traditions during a tea ceremony. Enjoy lunch, visit Japanese Capitol and Niju-bashi Bridge, and end the day with a Sumida River cruise on this hassle-free option.

What to Expect

The day begins with a pickup from select Tokyo hotels or a designated meeting point. The first stop, Tokyo Tower, gives you the best views of Tokyo’s skyline. If you want to delve into Japan’s historic traditions, you’ll be a part of a traditional tea ceremony and afterwards, there's a chance to visit a Japanese garden full of bonsai trees and remnants from the Edo period.

After lunch, you'll visit Tokyo’s Parliament building and the Imperial Palace. Your guide tells you about Japan’s past and all its historical figures and architecture. After seeing Niju-bashi Bridge, you’ll head to Hinode Pier for a river cruise under 12 bridges. The Nakamise streets are a great place to buy handicrafts and you’ll also visit Senso-ji—Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple. The day ends with a visit to the shopping area of Ginza and Tokyo station.
