      Fantastic Experience Hiking Impossible
Phenomenal experience. My partner and i hired a guide from this company to take us on a daylong hike in Parque Imossible. We are in our 60’s so this was a bit challenging but worth every minute of it. The guide spoke little English but we were able to get by. He was fabulous and knowledgeable about the plants and their medicinal value. There were a few thrilling surprises as in wading waist deep through a small river and climbing up a waterfall roped in. But he was meticulous when it came to safety. He and the extra guide he took along with us were so warm and a lot of fun. This is a must do experience while in Ataco but be prepared to expend lots of energy. The drive to the trailhead was on Avery bumpy road in a 4 x4 but we love that kind of adventure

      Unique
A very unique experience with a great group of travellers. Definitely one for the more adventurous people because you're really in the middle of nowhere which is a very cool experience. The guides definitely had our best interests in mind although note the route can be a bit daunting and there's no safety gear (life jacket or helmet). Great experience and very memorable.

      Adventurous Day Cliff Jumping
A totally unique tour experience into remote areas of El Impossible, cliff jumping, trekking, and swimming. There isn't really anything else like this in El Salvador! I will say it's one for the adventurous but if you're up for the challenge it's a must do!

      Great fun, hidden gem!
Really fun adventure! You get a full on salvadorian experience, starting with a delicious local style breakfast, then onto riding a pick up truck in bumpy roads, walking through beautiful jungle and learning about plants to then jumping off waterfalls and eating yummy guacamole by the river. We had loads of fun, would recommend ☺️

      El Imposible waterfall tour
Highly recommend doing this tour if you are in Ataco! William was an excellent guide, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, telling us about various plants we passed. The tour was a lot of fun, adventurous, with beautiful scenery along the way. We could choose if we wanted to jump into the water or walk around at the different spots. Both breakfast and lunch was included. We also saw some armadillos at the end of the tour which was another highlight! Overall we had a great experience.

      Absolutely amazing
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Start meaning inquiry. Will is super responsive, and clear, and really wants to ensure you will enjoy yourself and that you have the right expectations. He will also gladly help with connecting you to other folks around town if needed such as airport transfer, food and culture tours and more. William is a great guide, super nice and knows his stuff. The Waterfall Tour is a must do. Fun, adventurous (up to your own desires), beautiful, calming, enriching and more. So glad I came across El Salvatours, a must in Ataco.

Thrilling day of adventure for all abilities - couldn’t recommend enough
Exceptional experience with a genuine local tour guide and a day full of adventure. Our tour guide was experienced/trustworthy/supportive and offered the best advice for our ability and preferences. Couldn’t have enjoyed the day more - would go back in a heartbeat!

      Legend and legendary tour
Absolute legend of a guide. He took us through so many waterfalls and water slides, telling us where was safe but also where we were able to jump and jump we did. Other members of the community joined us as guides and made it so much fun. Can’t overstate how good the day was, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Perfect Day for Nature and Adrenaline
By far our favorite day in El Salvador. William was a very knowledgeable guide who took care of us but did not coddle us. We truly went off the beaten path. We felt very safe jumping off the waterfalls and walking through the jungle. Even the 4X4 ride was wild, but the driver was very aware of us in the back and careful. If you want an actual hike that’s not just a little stroll in the park and are into adrenaline and nature, the waterfall tour in El Imposible is a MUST.

      Amazing!!
AMAZING!! The only word needed to describe my experience!! I am a Salvadoran American who is trying to visit the country more often and see all that it has to offer. I'll go into detail about my experience but I'll try and summarize in the final paragraph for those who like to get to the point! I had the pleasure of meeting up with William, the local guide, to plan out a trip for the next day and we ended up going to a different part of the forest to see the bridge that gives the area it's name, El Imposible. I was not expecting to also do this secondary tour and was thrilled he suggested it on short notice. He was very knowledgeable on the history of the are, the people, plants and animals. He truly is a man of nature that loves and respects all aspects of it. I saw this in full effect the next day when we went on our actual hike. The hike itself is not easy but also not difficult enough for a beginner like myself. He made me feel at ease every step of the way and always made sure I was comfortable and ok with the pace. We did have rain the night before as well as that morning so the terrain was softer than usual and I faired just fine. The hike started in the morning around 7 to meet up for breakfast, and we made it back around 4. The tour itself and the sights and views are what make this a must do!! There was so much beauty and untapped nature on the trail and every time I would get excited he would show me something that would up the ante! El Perrol was a spectacle to see and I could not swim anywhere near it due to the stronger than usual currents from the rain. The water was also not clear due to the rains but it meant the water was falling at full strength and a sight to behold!! At this point he offered to go back along the same trail or take a detour for another waterfall. This other waterfall does not have a name but it was the high point of my trip!! I was left in awe when we reached it. I have never felt so connected to nature than in these moments!! I had the benefit of being alone as William took a different route up to the top of the waterfall. Then I was able to scale this waterfall with rope and harness!!! No photos will do this hidden gem any justice and it's a must see!! This is a secluded spot that I doubt many people know of other than the locals!! From here we made our way back and it was definitely a cardio workout. But one that was well worth it!! I was lucky enough that some clouds rolled in right at the end and we were quite literally in the clouds on the final stretch. I had such a fun time with William that I asked if he could show me around the smaller town in the area and we did just that over the next few days. I don't believe this is anything they offer but I mention as a testament to how great of a person William is and willing to make someone feel comfortable. I also want to add that my experience is a different one since it was still during the pandemic and the other William, yes there are 2, was not available. They do the tours together from my understanding and Australian William typically acts as the translator. Since I am fluent in spanish this was not an issue for me and I was able to go with William, the local, without any issue. Because of this I think is also why he was willing to show me around the last days. I am not sure how this may effect any tours needing a translator but Australian Will was very good at communicating via their IG account and they both seem very resourceful. Overall I would highly recommend the hike tour as it showcases some of the hidden gems of El Salvador with gorgeous scenery and views. The hike was tiring but I am not an avid hiker and very much a beginner. ! I will definitely be returning with friends to show them some of the spectacles El Salvador has to offer. My experience was a unique one and was done very spur of the moment but both Williams communicated in a timely manner and accommodated my schedule. A big thank you to both of them and I will be seeing them again for sure!!

Awesome waterfall hike with wildlife and picnic
Visited El Salvador for the 1st time and what a great experience it was.Tour included a vegitarian friendly picnic at a beautiful waterfall. My girlfriend found El Salvatours, set up the waterfall hike, and William was a great tour guide. He shared his knowledge about local plant life, their medicinal properties and also how locals used them in practical way. Like the cojones, a green circular shape plant that produces a white sap that is used as glue. Learned a lot. William was really good a spotting wildlife on the hike. I will be recommending his services to friends and family who visit El Salvador. Will definitely be keeping in touch with William.

      Amazing waterfall!
William is a great guide and this trek is a must for your trip along the Ruta de las Flores. Its not the easiest hike but worth it! Make sure to wear good shoes and bring bug spray. Maybe even hiking boots. A pancho might be helpful too!

      Making El Imposible possible
I had to pay double because I was the only one taking the tour that day but it was definitely worth it! The tour was just the right amount of adventure with amazing waterfalls, daring jumps and some canyoning to boot. You'll always feel well taken care of and we enjoyed a nice picnic at the foot of the most beautiful waterfall of the tour.

      Breathtaking and utterly amazing
This was an amazing experience. Starts with a delicious local breakfast, then up the volcano. Beautiful scenery along the way. Once the truck stops, the true journey begins. It's a beautiful, rugged, and undeveloped trip. The roots and tree provide natural stairs and hand holds. The jumps are amazing. It's hard not to be awe struck by the beauty of El Salvador. The tour is a full day and be sure to keep your energy for the end of the trip, you're going to need it hiking back through the jungle and up the volcano.

Eco tourism with great people & stunning waterfalls!
Make this a part of your Ruta de Las Flores experience! William (the local guide) cares immensely about what he does and has basically created this special waterfall tour from more than 16 years of experience in the El Impossible Park (knows the place like his own backyard). I appreciate that he took safety very seriously because you are in for an adventure and need to be prepared to jump off waterfalls. I felt I was in very good hands. You'll be exploring an El Salvadorian treasure - more people should know about El Impossible! I appreciate the model of this tour group (co-run by Australian William). They have their heart and intentions in the right place - to protect the nature of the area and making sure that local guides are involved in the tourism of their home and getting a fair wage for their expertise! The price is more than fair. I'm so glad I had I did this tour. Easy pick-up spot from Ataco & a full-day of adventure you won't forget! Thanks, Will(s)!

We had an amazing time today doing this hidden waterfalls guided tour. William, Edwin and Pedro were really knowledgable about local plants and giving us some to try, and we had the best time jumping from rocks and swimming in the waterfalls. Even the car journey there and back was great, with fantastic views and a beer at the end. Great breakfast and lunch included, would highly recommend anyone to do this tour when they’re in El Salvador.

Wow, I will say this was one of the most challenging physical things I have done in my life. The hike is like climbing almost at some parts. I’m 50 and heavy but good amount of muscle and mentally strong and it was a tough go, my sister who runs 10km a week was not ready for strain so we opted for the 2 waterfalls and back to start point, this was the easy way and it really pushed us, but if you can, it is worth the pain.
We enjoyed the tour with William and teddybear (Edwin) his English is enough to convey the root of the idea, they are both very patience. It took us an extra hour plus to get back with many, many stops to get the heart rate down and catch our breath. But they never seemed bothered by the super slow return, and had only our best interest in mind.

Bottom line if you are in the area and have a day AND are willing to work for a rewarding experience you owe it to yourself to see this untamed wilderness.

My 16yr old daughter breezed through, loved it and laughed as us, as she was fine with the climb.

William waters ( different then tour guide)who runs the tour outfit is also a super nice guy, willing to help with directions and point you on to other activities in the area. The Santa Teresa thermal springs are a must. They are only 6 usd after 5pm this was perfect timing with the tour return.
Do the tour then the hot springs!!!!!!

This was an epic journey and hike!! The guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. They showed us different plants and fruits that they use for medicine. The waterfall was worth every step! We went in January and I’d highly recommend layers and bringing dry clothes to change into. You are in the back of pick up on the way home and it gets cold if you are wet and with out a sweater. This was one of the most challenging hikes I’ve done and I’m so glad I can say I did it!

Did the El Impossible tour with William today......it was excellent. We did the option to start at the bottom of the largest waterfall. About an hour walk where we stopped and William told us about the medicinal benefits of various plants, he is very knowledgeable. Then we could swim or jump from different heights before climbing back up the river. There were places where he helped with rope and harness, but really a moderate hike. It was a great day and I would highly recommend this. Breakfast, lunch and transportation from Ataco included

We did this tour privately with our family of 4 (2 teens) in March. We are frequent travelers and prefer more “off the beaten path” experiences and locations. This experience was probably the most unique and best we have ever had!!! It was so special that I am very conflicted about making a public review and bringing attention to this hidden slice of paradise as I fear it will become exploited and ruined.

The guides are incredibly friendly & knowledgeable locals who made the voyage educational and enjoyable for all. This is their “backyard” so they knew every place to stop, play, eat & rest. They helped us navigate the steep and rocky terrain safely and made the track through the jungle an exhilarating experience, to say the least! We were also very impressed that while we were enjoying the swimming holes, they took out garbage bags and filled them with trash that the locals had left behind at the most popular waterfall.

The only word of caution is that the full tour we did could be considered very strenuous and over very rocky and steep terrain. We rappelled up waterfalls and climbed up cliffs with very minimal safety gear. The hikes were also very steep both up & downhill. We are a family that is in great shape and able to navigate most challenging terrains. I do trust that the guides alter the tours based on ability, age & experience!!! Just an FYI. ;)

In sum, if you’re looking for the most unique experience in all of South America, THIS IS IT! Worth every penny & more!

I can’t possibly say enough about my trip through the park with my girlfriend, highlight of our entire El Salvador experience! Everything from the planning ahead to the execution of the hike was incredibly professional and an absolute thrill. The staff were extremely accommodating and by the end of the day they felt like family. We were provided with a ride both ways, an amazing lunch, and tons of assistance as we ventured through this breathtaking landscape. I would personally say my favorite part was the knowledge they provided along the way about the indigenous medicinal plants and the stellar water fall jumps. They also made accommodations for those who weren’t as comfortable taking on the waterfalls and really took a hands on approach to ensuring everyone’s safety. All in all it was a once in a lifetime experience and I pray I have the chance to do it again! GET THERE ASAP!!

This is not just a tour of a magical place, this is an experience of a lifetime! To walk through the protected National Park El Impossible with William Uno is an opportunity to be part of nature in its purest form. We spent 5 hours hiking through the virgin forest, plunging through the river and jumping from waterfall to waterfall with the confidence that William knows this world as his home. It’s a gift to spend this time with someone as special and knowledgeable as William and his companion guide Edwin. We tasted plants and fruits we’ve never seen, we saw exotic birds and felt the sheer, awesome power of Mother Nature all around us. And we were all alone. The path proves this, you can hardly see it! Even the drive in the back of the pickup truck with our kind, reliable driver made the trip even more unique. This is a day in El Salvador we will never forget.

Best experience so far in El Salvador! Very kind guides en memorable waterfalls. William is a tour guide that you rarely come across: helpful, a quirky personality and also able to advise you not to do something. As icing on the cake, he gave us refreshment after the tour with delicious cold pils beers. A must do!
