A joint civil-military airport, the Charleston International Airport (CHS) is located about 12 miles northwest of downtown Charleston. It handled more than 3.1 million passengers in 2014, making it South Carolina's busiest airport. CHS has two runways and a single passenger terminal with two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Porter Airlines, Silver Airways, Southwest Airlines. United Express and US Airways express operate non-stop flights between Charleston International Airport and destinations in the United States and Canada. The airport is served by taxis, shuttles, two CARTA bus routes and six rental car companies.
