Located 17 miles southwest for downtown Moscow, Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) is one of three major airports serving the capital city of Russia. About 11.2 million passengers used the airport in 2013, making it the country's fourth-busiest airport. In total about 25 carriers operate at the airport, including Gazpromavia, I-Fly, Transaero Airlines, UTair Aviation, Yakutia Airlines and Pobeda, which have all designated it as a hub. Passengers can travel non-stop between Vnukovo International Airport and destinations throughout Russia, as well as cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. The airport has two runways and two passenger terminals.
