Italy's second-busiest airport, Milan–Malpensa Airport (MXP) handled almost 18.9 million travelers in 2014. The airport, which is 25 miles northwest of the city center, serves as a focus city for Alitalia, Blue Panorama Airlines, EasyJet, Meridiana and Neos Air. Other major carriers operating at MXP include Air Canada, Air India, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines and United Airlines. Non-stop flights are available to points across Europe, as well as destinations in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, North America and South America. Malpensa Airport has two runways and two passenger terminals. Ground transportation options include taxis, train, buses and rental cars.
