Initially allocated seat in different part of plane to my husband and told the flight was full so couldn't change. However my husband will only sit in the aisle seat so declined to fly unless they could change him. The counter staff said to talk to the board gate staff. WE INITIALLY DID AND THEY REALLY COULDN'T BE BOTHERED WITH...

This is my second time in 2 years to fly United. Both times, I gave up my seat to get a voucher. This second time, the voucher was worth $1500.00, yes fifteen hundred! The problem is united says, “pick a spot on the globe and we’ll get you there” or something to that extent. Hah! I tried to fly into...

I have been flying with United several times over the years and they never struck me as an airline that gives a s%$# about their customers. That said, more recently I had the impression that they have picked up a bit. The flight was uneventful and relatively punctual. Service on board is pretty much no frills and impersonal. I had...

Just got back from a trip to Boise. Decided to go first class since I am a disabled person and thought that first class would take some of the workload off the staff and perhaps be more comfortable for me. Trip to Boise was just OK. Service was spotty at best. At least I made it with one hop and...

In Houston, Gate agent would not let me board the plane because he said it was closed and they had given my seat away. He knew this without asking to see my boarding pass or asking for my name. As I stood there, a passenger came out of the gate and seemed to look in the waiting area for something...

Two delays of nonstop, took off 3+ hrs late, no service or support of any kind during the waits. First class service on long haul domestic flight has more leg room than economy, but little else. Does not in any way compare or equate with any European major airline, and especially not with Turkish, which is one of the best....

I hadn't flown United in a very long time. Overall, a pretty satisfactory experience. The flight to SFO was full and I had a tight connection to Medford. Since I was in the "cheap seats" in the rear of the plane I had to wait quite a while to deplane and we got to the gate later than scheduled to...

Inbound flight delayed so we left an hour late. Long connecting layover anyway so no big deal which airport I sat in. Second leg on time. Like United's new boarding process a lot better; feels a little more human without the hoards of people lining up and blocking the gate. At least all the sardines can get packed in the...
