They refused to seat my family together. My youngest son has autism. We flew with them to Orlando & Los Angeles and always seated on row 6. On this flight they split our group. It will be our last time flying with Jet Blue.

Identical ticket price difference.

I booked identical flights for my wife and me, virtually at the same time (minutes apart) - same flight, adjacent seats - yet her ticket cost $300 more (!). This is a complaint about ticketing practices, not about the actual flight...which we have not yet taken.

Incompetent staff, frequently delayed flights

Flight got delayed and I got resigned twice three hours before departure when I had already left for the airport. The desk staff was just completely incompetent, made an error d it in rebooked and books some in for the next day, even though they should have been attentive when dealing with frustrated customers and avoid making their trips worse. Still haven’t been compensated as per UK law (flights 3hours delayed are refunded)

Worst airline I have ever flown with. This is compared to Southwest, Delta, United, and Spirit. My flight was cancelled due to weather (understandable), the earliest flight they could get me on was two days later. They offered no compensation. I originally paid extra to select my seats and due to being rescheduled, no longer had the option to select seats but would not refund me for the extra I had originally paid. My party was traveling with 2 children user the age of 5 and when we rescheduled, they put the children in their mother in seats next to each other, but when we went to board the plane, one of the seats was given to a flight attendant instead so that one child would not be sitting with his mother. After 30 minutes of arguing, they moved people around and got my family on the plane. This extra 2 days stuck in Orlando cost my family an extra $2000 out of pocket for hotel and transportation. NEVER FLY JETBLUE. Your best bet is Southwest.

In March 2025, I had a deeply disappointing experience with JetBlue that I feel compelled to share. I had purchased a ticket that included one carry-on bag, one personal item, and one checked bag. However, upon boarding, a visibly stressed crewmember abruptly took my carry-on bag, claiming there was no more space in the cabin. Without properly informing me, she wrote my seat number on a napkin and placed it on my carry-on bag. I was left confused and concerned, as no clear explanation was given at the time. When I tried to clarify the situation and explain that I had paid for the carry-on bag, the same crewmember made the decision to deny me boarding altogether. She stated I would not be allowed to fly and that I should be rebooked onto the next flight. Although I did not feel comfortable flying under such circumstances, I accepted this solution in good faith. Unfortunately, the problems continued. After deboarding, other staff members informed me that rebooking was not possible due to the fact that my ticket was part of the ‘Basic’ package. This contradicted the earlier promise made by the crew, resulting in two failed commitments from JetBlue. Additionally, I was told that only customer service could process rebookings. When I contacted them, I encountered a one-hour wait before speaking to a representative. Ultimately, they were unable to assist, as the check-in desk for the next flight had already closed. Due to this ordeal, I had to arrange an overnight stay and incur additional expenses. Summary of issues: • Paid carry-on bag was forcibly removed without clear communication. • Denied boarding without valid justification. • Rebooking on next flight was promised and not honored. • Customer service was slow and ineffective. • Incurred additional costs due to JetBlue’s operational failures. I found the behavior of the staff unprofessional and unacceptable. The head crewmember involved appeared overwhelmed and poorly equipped to handle customer concerns, and she also refused to identify herself when approached. This raises serious concerns about the quality of service and accountability within JetBlue’s operations. Recommendation: Based on this experience, I would not recommend flying with JetBlue. The service quality was extremely poor, promises were not kept, and the handling of customer issues was unprofessional and disorganized.
