I travel with flight OU659 1330 whole past year and flight is in constant delay at least 45 minutes and you feel like you are traveling with village bus.

Croatian Airline does not care. A disaster to fly with. Ruined our trip

First flight cancelled while sitting on the plane due to technical problem which is unfortunate and understandable. What followed however was diabolical. Staff on ground had no idea what to do. Sat around for 5 hours then transferred to hotel 1.5 hours away from airport for basically a 3 hour sleep as the next flight scheduled at 6am next day. Got to airport at 4.30 am only for the rescheduled flight to be cancelled 30 minutes before boarding. Next flight schedule 8 hours later, with no support while we sat around the airport. Arrived 40 hours late and missed our international connection. Have written 18 times now to the Croatian Airline and applied as per their website for compensation which is applicable under EU law. Not a single response.…

If you have other options, better to book with another airline

I had another flight to catch (there was supposed to be 2h between the flights. The first flight was delayed (1h) because we were waiting on other passengers whose flight (also operated by CA) was late. When I asked the stewardess if I could still make it to the next flight (thinking that since the ticket was bought with them, they would at least inform someone to wait for us or offer to take us directly to the gate since we had to change terminals, because THEIR flight was late) she replied : how am I supposed to know that? And left. I guess her colleague standing next to her, told her that she was being rude because she came back and asked me why was I sitting all the way in the back when I had another flight to catch and why didn't I change places and moved up front when I found out that the flight was late. (?) Food and beverages: a cup of water (you could choose from sparkling and still) and a small bag of crackers…

Terrible experience both in Split and Zagreb

The flight was 3 hours delayed and, according to the Croatian Airline, you can and I quote from their website: "If your Croatia Airlines flight was delayed or canceled, you may be eligible for compensation under European Regulation EC 261. The amount of compensation you can receive depends on the distance of your flight: Up to €250: If your flight was up to 1,500 kilometers Up to €400: If your flight was between 1,500 and 3,500 kilometers Up to €600: If your flight was more than 3,500 kilometers You may be eligible for compensation if your flight: Was delayed by more than three hours." I applied for this, and it took them three months to respond: "We would like to express our sincere regrets for the unpleasant situation that accompanied your trip from Split to Zagreb, flight OU381, on August 29th, 2024. We fully recognize the importance of on-time performance and understand that flight schedule changes inconvenience our customers. No matter how much we would like to operate according to the timetable, we regret to say that, unfortunately, there are certain unpredictable situations that carriers are not able to avoid. Please be informed that the mentioned flight was delayed due to extraordinary circumstances. Since such situation is caused by a cause outside the airline’s sphere and it is considered as extraordinary circumstance, as per applicable regulations the carrier is not obliged to pay any financial compensation. Also, the airport staff are the worst; rude, unpleasant, uninformed. Overall, as a frequent traveler, I can surely say that this is one of the worst airlines and airports (both Split and Zagreb; Zadar and Pula at least have okay personnel) and I will avoid them in the future.…

Unapologetically always late

Flight was delayed 1 hour on departure due to “weather conditions” - all 4 other flights scheduled to depart at the same time somehow did not have this issue. Spet another 30 mins circling before landing and then waited another 20 mins on taxi to park. No real apologies.
