Late departure from PHX to ORD. Flight from ORD to DCA wouldn't wait 7 minutes for us. Only one first class seat available and no meal service as offered on planned flight. Two traveling companions moved to economy. Refund of $72 each Ha! Try upgrading your seat from economy to first class nexto time you fly ORD to DCA. It...

Wasn't bad. Check-in wasn't great and staff not all that helpful. Was charged for baggage when I shouldn't have been but forced to pay. Had called previously to connect flights as was going from STL to Chicago, then Chicago to Heathrow and was told they would do it for me at the airport, only to then be told at the...

Really easy and comfortable flight. No complaints. Food was good and tasty. Decent selection of films and TV, bonus of live sport on too, so could watch the World Cup! Pleasant enough staff, would recommend.

We flew from Tampa to Manchester UK with a connection in Philly. Good thing we had a long layover, the walk from terminal to terminal must have been two miles! The plane itself was old uncomfortable seats with no outlets or personal TV. Not good on an international flight. The food was disgusting.

I actually did this flight in two segments. I had to change the dates on my ORD-DEN ticket and fly one day earlier. That change DOUBLED the price of my ticket. I thought that was a rip off. Compared to other airlines around the world I find travelling in the USA the least pleasant. In the USA (with American at...

Our flight from Quito back to Newark, New Jersey was a nightmare come to life. No advance notice of cancellation, no guarantee of a flight back, long delays without explanation or clarification by the airline, poor and delayed service when finally on board..American Airlines dished out the worst flight I have encountered in forty years of international travel. At Quito...

I flew American Airlines from the tiny Santa Fe airport to Phoenix (i don't think there was an option of airlines on this route). The experience was pretty bad. The flight itself was fine, When we got to Phoenix we were told that there was no gate for us. We sat on the tarmac for nearly an hour, watching a...

I started flying American Airlines 63 years ago and of course things are different in this industry. I understand that the seats are tight. The lines are long, and personal, friendly service is a surprise rather than a right. What I experienced that was heartless was that I fell and hurt myself badly. I couldn’t walk. I wanted to go...

First - the good: space and seat comfort in domestic American first class (European: business), service onboard, hot peanuts. The bad - long wait in DFW for first class/business class (priority) for the MIA-DFW flight luggage The ugly - conenction between Oneworld alliance airlines in ORD. Arriving in T3, departing from T5 (BA to LHR). AA flight from DFW was...

Great flight and smooth sailing. Nice ride on time and service was great. They served a few light snacks and drinks. Weather was good. No delays. Great all around.
