American as a whole is a great airline and my usual choice when I fly. This particular flight was on an Airbus A319 and the seats were some of the narrowest and closest between the rows of any plane I have ever flown. Had difficulty putting my computer bag under the seat in front of me even though it was...

Up at 3 am to be sure of making morning flight. The Traverse to Chicago flight closed the cabin door right on time at 5:48 am. (That starts the crews pay.) We sat there for de-icing (which takes about 10 minutes) and who knows what until taxi out at 6:35 am. De-planed in Chicago at 7 am at G concourse....

Flight attendant was not only exceptionally friendly and caring (a rather rare occurrence these days) but he was fully tri-lingual (Japanese and German in addition to his native English), addressed every passenger at every interaction by name, put a blanket over a sleeping child and made sure his cabin was happy and well looked after. What a great experience.

We have not flown on American Airlines in a long time. However the times and day worked for us. The airline was clean which is what we noticed upon entering, the crew was friendly and smiling. The captain introduced himself and earned us we might have a patch of bumpy weather. Drinks and dinner on board were served either hot...

We had a "minor" mechanical delay that was just to take a few minutes. It lasted over an hour and a half. We had to reschedule a connecting flight. We arrived too late to make our dinner reservation. We spent New Year's eve at a Pizza Hut.

The staff at the check-in desk was so rude and incompetent. I had the correct type of visa to enter the country I was going to, but they insisted it was the wrong type of visa and wouldn't give me my plane ticket because of that. I had to buy a new plane ticket because of their incompetence and later...

Everything was on time or even arrived a few minutes early. The only downside was on some connections the screens where you can watch movies/play games didn't work correctly. Other than that the staff was friendly and the flight was clean with room for our carry on luggage.

First flight from USA to Italy. We flew business class, getting an upgrade from economy the night before. The flight was very comfortable, the Attendants very nice and professional. I use a prosthesis and can't imagine being able to relax or sleep in economy for 8 hours. The food was very good and staff very attentive. I recommend this to...

When I landed in Phoenix from Sacramento, I was advised to rebook my travels to Des Moines as a snow storm was going through. I asked if they were still going, yes, well take me home. Our pilot had great humor, gave us encouragement and it was a little tough going in but he hopped out of the cockpit and...
