Had my Winair flight cancelled but was lucky that Winair and Liat ground staff got me on a Liat flight that day, or would have had to take my chance to get next day flight and catch or miss my connecting flight back to Toronto

I thought flying from Grenada to St Lucia would be quite simple but was somewhat surprised when we had to travel via Barbados. That in itself would have been quite tolerable but the three and a half hour stopover in the transit lounge took the overall time duration to almost the same as flying from Gatwick to the Caribbean. The...

Had read very mixed reviews about LIAT before travelling out to the Caribbean. On the plus side, check in and boarding at Barbados was fine with a departure (actually leaving the tarmac) five mins ahead of schedule which was welcomed. However in flight service is poor. The flight attendant looked totally disengaged in terms of dealing with us as passengers....

I have travelled with Liat for over 10 years and was please when on my flights to and from Dominica, refreshments were offered. There were only a small selection of hot and cold drinks but that’s better than last year as we were offered nothing on any of our 6 flights with Liat. The flight left on time, and arrived...

For a small regional airline Liat did exactly what we needed and expected of them. We had a minor delay of approx. 15 minutes; however, communication was clear and the issue was resolved quicker than expected allowing us to board shortly after our originally planned departure time. The ATR 42-600 aircraft is relatively small, which may offer a new experience...

Flights left on time both ways. No hassle at the counter. Flight was smooth and relaxing. No complaints for a first time flying with LIAT which I usually try to avoid due to seemingly 90% bad reviews. *knock on wood* Still waiting for regional travel to become cheaper. One can dream.

We’ve flown on LIAT a couple of times despite mediocre, and sometimes negative, reviews. On this flight our departure was predictably over an hour later than scheduled due to a problem with their computer system which held up receipt of the necessary paperwork. However we had allowed extra time so we still arrived in Barbados in time to get our...
