Tim’s personalized flexible tours of Cape Town and surrounding areas were second to none. We visited the Aquila game reserve we drove through the breathtaking, Bainskloof pass, we saw baboons at Cape point, and wondered through the penguin colony at Simstown. Tim is extremely knowledgable and his conversation is sprinkled with information and interesting tidbits

First class service. Tim and Dot prepared our seven day itinerary and it was excellent. Tim looked after us very well from airport pick up till drop off, and each day we spent just the right amount of time discovering the whole area and all the tourist attractions, not to mention the wine tastings.
We would certainly recommend Seascape Tours to anyone going to Capetown.

Seascape (and in particular, Tim) were fantastic. My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and we booked a tour of the Cape Peninsula along with a trip up to Table Mountain. The day was incredible and Tim was a great part of that - he planned a perfect itinerary to take advantage of the weather that day (i.e. to avoid the more scenic spots until the clouds cleared for the best views), and was very receptive to what we wanted from the tour (scenic vistas). H e was also very personable. Then when we got to Table Mountain he was very helpful - he had purchased a 'fast track' ticket up the mountain out of pocket to bypass the crazy lines and took care of all the logistics like parking etc. He then threw on a free city tour at the end! All in all, incredible tour, and my wife and I will not hesitate to call on Tim again next time we're in Cape Town and want any kind of tour of the area.

When we stumbled across Seascape tours with Tim and Dot, we hit the jackpot- they were simply awesome!
I had booked several trips myself and looked at car hire then couldn’t find a 2 day safari as it was peak high season and was bitterly disappointed as it was something we really wanted to do.
We then found availability through seascape and I started corresponding with Dot via email.
I just knew from gut instinct they were reliable trustworthy and everything you would want from a personal tour package , suddenly I cancelled all the trips I’d booked myself and handed Dot the baton to do it for us- best decision I’ve ever made in my life !
Having sent a list of everything we wanted to do , they devised a personalised tour package , starting with meet and great on arrival at Cape Town to departures on our final day!
Within minutes of Tim collecting us ,we were no longer clients / customers but friends! I felt the same whilst corresponding with Dot, both are so warm and friendly and love what they do! Seems their aim is to exceed customers expectations and they certainly did for us.
Dot had to go to visit her daughter and left us in safe hands with Tim! He is a fountain of knowledge and nothing is too much trouble ! We missed our breakfast one day and needed a snack at lunchtime but the restaurants were so busy ( bank holiday with huge queues ) no problem , Tim took us to a local store to buy hot snacks and sandwiches, so we were still on time for our wine tasting slot and would not be drinking on an empty stomach!
This trip was very personal as my Mother was born in Cape Town and left South Africa over 70 years ago and I wanted to see her birthplace , school , work etc again no problem , Tim sourced it out and worked the itinerary so I could take photos for mom of her history here in Cape Town from the 50’s!
Tim filled us with so many Interesting stories, I bought a book to jot everything down to share with my 92 year old mom when I got back!
He sourced where I could buy all the South African treats she wanted me to take back to her as well as recommending great places for us to dine in the evening! He also gave us plenty of ideas for our rest days in between trips!
Last minute we decided we wanted to zip wire again no problem, Tim just found a slot and added it to the itinerary!
Yes, you can do an itinerary yourself and it’s cheaper but you will miss out on so much it’s just not worth it! Tim and Dot charge a reasonable price and it’s absolutely great value for money ! Their expertise is priceless in our opinion , you will be safe and well looked after !
Certainly recommend them and already our friends intend to speak to them for their upcoming stay in 2023!
We will be passing the word on to anyone who intends to visit Cape Town - book with Tim and Dot and you in very safe hands!
Cannot thank you both enough for making this holiday a dream come true ! Without seascape it would have been a good holiday - with seascape it was simply awesome , a prefect holiday and cannot thank you enough - just amazing!
Seascape we love you ❤️

We have just finished our 5 day tour of Cape Town including a tour of the Cape, Stellenbosch, safari in Aquila reserve and returning via Tolbach. Tim was a font of knowledge throughout and very friendly and professional.
We were unsure how to approach South Africa as there is so much said about crime rates and safety. We shouldn’t have worried as Tim had everything covered- he knew where to go and not go, and advised us accordingly. Being on a private tour took away all of that stress and we packed in a huge amount over 5 days. Tim accommodated any changes- we wanted to add in a horseback safari- no problem, took too long at a wine tasting- not an issue. He was always on hand, but left us regularly to enjoy our activities in private striking the right balance.
The wine farms were all excellent, penguins on Boulder beach were a highlight and the safari lodge at Aquila blew us away. Highly recommend.

Our family of 4 were hosted by both Tim and Dot (Seascape Tours) on a fabulous 4-day garden Route Tour from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, during our recent visit to South Africa in April 2022. Our experience was first class - we were picked up in a very comfortable Toyota transport van, with a child seat for our youngest, with complementary water bottles in a large cool box.
As we started our journey it quickly became clear that Dot and Tim were very personable and knoweldgeable about all the areas we were driving through - including points on the tour that we were not due to stop in. Tim especially had excellent knoweldge of the history of South Africa and some very interesting stories of some of his life experiences during previous employment when he travelled across Africa for work. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to these stories on our long drives. We saw some breathtaking and interesting scenery and were booked by Tim and Dot on some excellent activities (like Zip lining through the forrest) on our garden route tour. Other memorable visits on this tour were our trip to Storms River Mouth, Monkeyland, Cango Caves and Birds of Eden.
Before our trip, we had contemplated hiring a car for a self-drive. We are glad we did not, as we would have missed out on all the colour that Tim and Dot sprinkled over our whole trip. We would never have learned so much about the places we were visiting or indeed just driving through.
Off the back of our positive experience on the 4 day garden route tour, we also booked Seascape Tours again, for a Wine Region tour and Cape of Good Hope Tour later in our holiday. Tim and Dot's knoweldge of important tourist routes, sites and activites allowed them to respond to unforeseen circumstances such as road traffic diversions allowing us to quickly resume our packed itinerary.
Costs were very fair and defintiely worth it for the 5 star service we recieved. We have already been recommeding Seascape Tours to our friends/family and will continue to do so. We do hope to stay in touch with them also for our next trip to Southern Africa, whenever that may be. I learned that Seascape tours acan also put together exellent tours for other southern Africa countres too, e.g. Botswana/Namibia/Zimbabwe etc...
In summary, I would highly recommend Seascape Tours. Please don't hesitate to book.

Dot and Tim made this an unforgettable experience for us. Right from the time they picked us up from the airport to the end of our 8 day tour, they made this an exciting and breath-taking holiday.
Very flexible in changing schedules at short-notice due to the unpredictable weather, they made us experience the breathtaking views from Table Mountain and Cape Point and ensured we visited all the must-see places in Cape Town. To top it up we learnt a lot through Tim's extensive knowledge and personal experiences growing up in Cape Town.
We had a busy and taxing schedule that allowed us to undertake several activities but for us the highlight was spending time with Dot & Tim. Hope to see you again soon and would 100% recommend this lovely couple to anyone wanting to experience the real Cape Town

We had 2 absolutely fantastic tours with Dot and her husband Tim from Dot Seascape. Not only did they arrange everything to perfection, they are very pleasant and reliable
people.
Their knowledge is immense and there was not one question left unanswered.
We would book tours with them anytime and we felt comfortable, safe and well taken care of at all times.

We thought we were hiring a van and driver to take my family of five all around Cape Town for 10 days. Little did we know we'd meet such wonderful people in Dot & Tim and find new friends in them. From Tim's most delightful stories of SA, his life and more; too Dot's servant heart helping us with every little detail, we felt at home. I'm soooo glad we didn't rent a car, as I never would have learned so much history and detail about SA. My whole family really loved these guys and I highly recommend them for any exploring service you might desire.

Hi Trent,
Thank you for the lovely review!
Once again it was wonderful for us to meet you and your family and to show you some of Cape Town, I think we probably enjoyed it as much as you did, specially after the long lockdown! If anything it has reminded me of how lucky we are to be in this business and able to meet such nice people like yourselves.
We will stay in touch and hope to see you all again in the future!

Tim and Dot were amazing! We took 2 one-day tours and we had such awesome time and experience with them. Personally, they were very friendly, funny, warm, helpful and super authentic. Professionally, they were very efficient, professional, client-driven and knowledgeable about the places we visited and the history. Really appreciate that they customised our tours, accommodated to our needs and made us feel so comfortable i.e. I wanted to show my daughter UCT and Stellenbosch Uni and Tim and Dot went the extra mile to do just that – took us to view the campuses! Highly recommend Seascape Tours – Tim and Dot truly are passionate about beautiful South Africa and they will take care of you during your tours, regardless of rain, shine or extreme wind! :) Thank you so much Tim and Dot. It was such a pleasure meeting and getting to know you. I hope we will be back soon!
